Guild Summary

1 Corinthians 10:31 says, "Therefore, whether you eat, drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." This includes gaming. Thus, the purpose of this guild is to give glory to God while playing Spiral Knights and, in so doing, spread a good witness for our Lord by our presence.

How to Join

If you would like to join the Knights of Christ, send an in-game email to Guildmaster Thinslayer or any of the Officers with the following information:

  • In-game username
  • Forum username
  • Time zone
  • Tier clearance
  • Mission rank
  • Estimated playtime (i.e., are you new?)

Guild Rules

Since we are ambassadors for Christ, this guild has high behavioral expectations of its members:

  • Abide by the Terms of Service.
  • If you give, make it a gift; loans are prohibited.
  • Foul language is prohibited.
  • Be civil, polite, and friendly at all times.
  • Begging for stuff from other players is discouraged.
  • Use proper spelling and grammar when possible.
  • Refrain from discussing unsavory or impolite subjects.
  • Scamming other players is prohibited.
  • Trolling is prohibited.
  • Most importantly, be a good Christian!

All of these conduct rules are also enforced on the Spiral Knights Forums. Disciplinary actions may include being ignored, demoted, or removed from the guild.

Additional rules:

  • Donate at least 10% of your crowns to the Guild Treasury every Wednesday. If you can't do it Wednesday, just make sure you donate. We aren't picky about how you calculate that 10%, but be honest with yourself. Keep in mind that the donations go only toward making the Guild and Guild Hall better. Donations of materials (boss materials for trophies especially) in addition to crowns are very much appreciated as well.
  • To keep an active and fun guild, we do remove members who are inactive for over three (3) months. If you are going to be gone for awhile, let one of the officers or Guildmasters know. We can usually work something out with you.

Guild Promotions

Moving up the ranks in our guild is fairly simple:

  • Recruit: Claim to be a Christian, and join the guild!
  • Member: Offered after demonstrating godly behavior. Gain access to Member storage.
  • Veteran: Granted upon paid room rental. Gain access to Veteran Storage and the Energy well.
  • Officer: Given to members who have demonstrated exceptional godly behavior. Gain access to Officer storage.
  • Guild Master: Requires a unanimous vote from all active Guild Masters.

Note: Begging for promotions will not help you get them. Reminders are okay, but in general, be patient.

Other Information

"Being active" is defined as having logged on for a decent amount of time (at least half an hour of play) at least once per week. To check your Tier clearance, click on the "Character" button and click on the "Progress" tab. It should be listed under "Special Assignments." To check your rank, click on the "Missions" button and look at the bar with blue filling on the top of the window.
