This is a documentation subpage for Template:DoRSource (see that page for the template itself). It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

Usage

Edit DoRSource to add or fix data regarding release information on published pages.

DoRSource is essentially a linking template, but designed to be used within other templates which have release date information. See templates in which DoRSource is used for usage details. Its purpose is to rapidly update multiple pages at once with Date of Release information. This information is displayed as a date that links to a relevant admin post.

Notes

This template relies on the current pattern of release dates. It is rare for two or more different groups of items to have the same release date - in other words, usually one group is released on a given date. If an exception occurs, simply manually input the source and date data into the template on the page(s) that are "in the minority," or just choose one that seems to require fewer edits. For example, a box with several different accessories should have priority over an individual type of item or smaller group.

Oddities include:

• Nemesis Prize Box vs. Guardians Armor Pack content on date: 13 July 2012

The Prize Box takes priority and is included in the template. The Guardians Armor Pack items are entered manually.

• Hoptimer Monster Pocket vs. Blooming Prize Box recolor content on date: 16 April 2014

The Prize Box takes priority and is included in the template. The Hoptimer data is entered manually.

• Construct Prize Box content vs. Platinum Lockbox content on date: 01 October 2014

The Lockbox takes priority and is included in this template. The Construct Prize Box data is entered manually.
