Elevator Passes were Usable items which allowed a player, one knight per account, to bypass all elevator fees. Elevator Passes were obtained through the Energy Depot either by direct purchase, which lasted one month (30 days), or through the Explorer's Pack, which lasted two weeks (14 days). Once purchased, an Elevator Pass was immediately activated and bound to an account, and as such, could never be traded.
Being bound to an entire account, it would have appeared in the arsenal of all knights on the account. It would have only affected one account, and no others on the same computer. Because a purchase of Energy is required to register the account as paid so that a second account can be created with its own separate mist energy reserve, buying the Elevator Pass alone will not meet this requirement. Buying the Explorer's Pack, would have, however, because it contains Energy.
Elevator Passes were unrestricted; a knight could freely use as many elevators as they please for the duration. Additionally, passes stacked with each other, meaning that two Explorer's Pack purchases would have granted a four week pass.
The Elevator Pass did not negate the energy required for tabbing other knights. Doing so would have drawn from the knight's Mist or Crystal Energy reserves as it normally did, unless the other player(s) in question also had an Elevator Pass
