Welcome to the wiki! Thank you for paying attention to and following Help:Creating a guild page. Regarding images, there are a few things that will make the work of editors a bit easier:
- When you upload an image, tag it. Different images need specified tagging so they can be organized into categories as well as have their purpose(s) immediately identified on the file's page. For example, your recent uploads showing individuals in the inspect window would need {{character image|NAME}}. I have added these already, but if you upload more, remember to add that tag, if it's appropriate. Other images, such as this one, require different and more complicated tags.
- The wiki has major cache issues. We do not know what the wiki does to sort itself out, but images can take quite a long time to show up properly. This has been a problem since the dawn of time. Even if the image looks exactly the same, in a few minutes or days (I've seen it take weeks) the image will show up properly. Reuploading images rapidly will not force the wiki to show the proper visual faster. In fact, some pages will show the updated visual right away, while others, even the file page itself, won't until a later unspecified time. Just be patient. It is my opinion that the warning box outlined in red on file upload pages - the one that says: "There are currently issues with uploading new versions of images already on the wiki. (The issue is being looked into. Please do NOT reupload or revert it several times as it will not help.)" needs to be larger and more obvious so that new editors have an easier time noticing it and stop wondering if they're going insane. Also we're pretty sure it's not actively being looked into after all these years, we just deal with it.
