Numbers

There is a section that includes how many minerals are required to make a gate. However, in the past this number scaled automatically depending on the activity of players... now that the gate creation system has changed, we should watch gates for signs of variation. --Pauling 04:42, 13 March 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I had just accidentally left that in there and probably edited it to remove them after you'd read the article. I was putting them in when I looked at another gate and noticed it was still variable. --Equinox 15:03, 13 March 2011 (UTC)

Strata do not seem to have any capacity at all listed any more; a rewrite of several sections may be appropriate. Does anyone have any information regarding how the mineral prices are now determined? --Antistone 06:24, 19 August 2011 (UTC)

Stratum Theme Determination

How was the dual-majority theory dis-proven? It seems to be the case in my research as well. --Furyhunter 06:31, 6 April 2011 (UTC)

My research has found gates of Valestone and Luminite to be both beast and slime. The deciding factor to this, as I had witnessed, was the third most prevalent mineral (in this case, Crimsonite and Moonstone). You can view my current research on this here. --Ekkosangen 16:50, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
I don't see any valestone/luminite beast gates on that spreadsheet.
It was an observed combination on stratum 2 of Coral Pawn, it locked in at Slime but was dancing between Beast and Slime as Moonstone and Crimsonite were deposited. The combination will be correct in practice. --Ekkosangen 00:34, 7 April 2011 (UTC)

I've just observed a gate that is inconsistent with the posted recipes. I'm not sure if this is a rule that we don't know about or just a bug, but the gate is reporting an anti-mineral disruption when the highest three minerals are moonstone, dark matter, and crimsonite, in that order--the table says the anti-mineral for the moonstone/dark matter recipe is valestone. http://wiki.spiralknights.com/File:Wrong_anti_mineral.jpg --Antistone 06:43, 19 August 2011 (UTC)

Anti-mineral Disruptions

It is known that if there is an anti-mineral disruption, the stratum theme is chosen randomly.

My question: If there is an anti-mineral disruption, is the theme chosen from all ten themes or just the nine that exclude the theme it would be if not for the anti-mineral disruption?

simple rule

So: Theres one thing thats bad - tier 3 devilites.

So to prevent it - its simple rules:

1) Always deposit Yellow minerals at stratums 5 and 6. 2) Always deposit Red and Purple minerals at stratums 1,2,3 and 4.
