Vitapods are items that add a number of units of health to the knight that picks it up by walking over it. They appear as white capsules with red markings showing the number of health bars that will be added. The value of the vitapod is always evenly divisible by the tier it is dropped in. When you run over a vitapod, you will pick it up automatically, as long as it has a higher number than your current vitapod (or you do not have a current vitapod). Because the health bars added by a vitapod are empty, players will need to find hearts to fill the additional bars. Although stronger vitapods have been available in earlier versions of the game, the strongest vitapod available gives 30 more health (only achievable in the Shadow lairs).
Along with Vials, Vitapods are the only other item that only affects the knight that collected them.
You can drop your vitapod by clicking on the symbol in your HUD and dragging it to the area near your knight.
