The Nightblade is a 3-star sword.

Description

A short slicer infused with the essence of the Underworld.

Attacks

Basic Attack

A standard 3-hit combo.

Charge Attack

The Knight lunges forward slightly with a powerful forward slash, which is followed by 3 explosions. The explosions do not go over gaps or up stairs or ramps. However, the explosions do go down stairs and ramps.

Damage

The following damage values represent the weapon at its completed level, without any UV or bonus from other equipment, and listed as a range found from the first to last floor of each stratum. The basic attack has alternating high and low hits, the last hit of the basic combo does the charge-level damage. The charge attack alternates between the charge value and the low attack value. Damage decreases after Depth 24.

Trivia

• The Nightblade series of swords is the only sword in the game where the Knight holds the sword's sheath in the opposite hand.
• The Nightblade and it's sheath are both similar in appearance to a Katana, a sword which was used by the Samurais of feudal Japan.
