A "reskin" is an item in its own right (it can have its own Unique Variants), but it mimics exactly the combat statistics of another item (assuming that neither have different unique variants, of course). It simply looks and perhaps animates in a different manner. Depending on the item, reskins can be obtained via crafting or as a random prize from a Prize Box. For a condensed list of all reskins in the game, see the Reskins Category page.

Most costumes and accessories are technically reskins or recolors of each other. There is some confusion regarding the term "reskin:"

Some users would argue that a "reskin" includes other factors (such as entire models) while excluding other factors (such as status), based on other games and real-world uses of the term. There has been plenty of argument in the forums! To keep things consistent and less confusing, we're going with what Game Masters mentioned in this forum post as parameters, as well as the popularity of the term "reskin."

For a condensed list of reskins, see the Reskins Category page.

Reskins have been referred to as "clones."
