Subtowns are towns located below Haven. They are inhabited by various citizens and serves as a resting point for Knights to re-equip their gear or purchase goods from vendors before progressing deeper into the Clockworks or returning to Haven.

Subtowns have force fields preventing inexperienced knights from delving deeper than they should. Speaking to the Spiral Warden will allow knights to find out what they need in order to be granted access.
