I've only ever used it to force links + templates that have fussy spacing in relation to each other to work in certain contexts... probably twice in my entire time in this hobby. You might see it around older pages because of an editor's preference in old coding style, or some other reason. It's not a necessity. I knew the issue was the capital F, it just didn't came to my mind that you weren't required to actually link it with [[ ]]. I'm sorry I always make a problem when i try to fix something. I will try to do better next time. Sorry for the hassle i always bring you, Novaster. --[[User:Annevdw|Ciardha]] 14:24, 15 July 2015 (CEST)

It's probably better to edit a file's page (instead of the file's talk page) with the '''<nowiki>{{needs updating|REASON}}</nowiki>''' tag. This is because the tag will call editors looking for [[Things to do|something to do]]. I only see the talk pages because I frequently check the English wiki's global [http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Special:RecentChanges recent changes]. --[[User:Novaster|Novaster]] 16:01, 15 July 2015 (UTC)

User Pages

You can't make user pages in the mainspace. Wiki policy is to delete them asap. You'll just have to put that information on your user page for Annevdw.--Novaster 19:12, 26 June 2015 (UTC)

MissionInfo

The issue was a capital F in "from."

Many templates will not require you to individually link things, the brackets and spacers are built in. When in doubt, follow the format of other pages using the template, if documentation doesn't cover the issue. It's usually a typo that's making the fuss :)

Avoid using "_"

I've only ever used it to force links + templates that have fussy spacing in relation to each other to work in certain contexts... probably twice in my entire time in this hobby. You might see it around older pages because of an editor's preference in old coding style, or some other reason. It's not a necessity. Here are some details about it. --Novaster 16:09, 13 July 2015 (UTC)

It's fine. Pencils have erasers for a reason (many pens are abominations). It's in our nature to learn from mistakes. Most of this is just consistency stuff anyway. What's important is that you're willing to help! --Novaster 16:01, 15 July 2015 (UTC)

Updating Pictures

It's probably better to edit a file's page (instead of the file's talk page) with the {{needs updating|REASON}} tag. This is because the tag will call editors looking for something to do. I only see the talk pages because I frequently check the English wiki's global recent changes. --Novaster 16:01, 15 July 2015 (UTC)
