This item has been available since release 2011-04-04 when the game officially launched.

The Spiral Sallet is a promotional headwear item in Team Fortress 2 for players who complete the Mission Accomplished achievement. This TF2 "Spiral Sallet" resembles Mighty Cobalt Helm more than it does the Spiral Knights Spiral Sallet.
