Acquisition

Its Sprite Pod can be crafted at the Mysterious Alchemy Machine.

Recipe

The alchemy cost for this Sprite's Pod is 10,000 crowns. Below are the materials needed to make the Seraphynx (Black Kat) Pod.

Note: When crafting using bound equipment as a precursor, the upgraded item will also be bound. Do not open pod until after the desired pod is crafted.

Abilities

Augments

When a sprite levels up, they gain skill points which can be spent on augments for the sprite's abilities.

Sprites eventually obtain all skill points as they level.

Ray of Light:

• Focus: Reduces skill cooldown.
• Magnify: Increases the reach and power of the ray of light.
• Enduring Light: Increases the duration of the ray of light.

Heart Attack:

• Focus: Reduces skill cooldown.
• Extra Hearty: Increases the chance of hearts dropping and duration of the enchantment.
• Wide Embrace: Increases the area of effect of heart attack.

Angelic Aura:

• Focus: Reduces skill cooldown.
• Protection: Increases the defensive powers of the angelic aura.
• Cover: Increases the size and duration of the angelic aura.

Ultimates

The Seraphynx (Black Kat) can choose one "ultimate" for each of its three abilities.

Ray of Light can be turned into Dazzling Light Ray or Disintegration Ray at level 90.

Heart Attack can be turned into Iron Heart Attack or Violent Heart Attack at level 95.

Angelic Aura can be turned into Seraphic Aura or Valkyrian Aura at level 100.

The ultimate chosen will change the appearance of the sprite. Below is a gallery displaying some of these "Ultimate Appearances".

Ultimates can be reset with a Reset Star.

Notes

This reskin was introduced during the third Kataclysmic Confrontation in April 2014, announced here. It has the exact same skills, abilities, and preferred appetite as the original Seraphynx.

Its aesthetics are similar to the Black Kat monster. These visuals become more apparent as it evolves.

This sprite was the first reskin of a battle sprite, the second being the Drakon (Gun Pup).
