The NPC Torin is a Lost Soul of Almire.

Torin

Hold fast, traveler. You stand in the court of the Kingdom of Almire. Do you not hear the trumpets sound the return of our mighty legions? Are you not in awe of the prestigious heraldry of our great houses and statesmen?

• Sure, it seems very impressive.
• I don't see or hear any of those things.

(You sense great pride coming from the fallen knight, but he says no more and stares off into the distance towards a lifetime that only he sees.)

Notes

He speaks of glory, and seems lost in thoughts of Almire's grand history.

He was a Knight of Almire. This title is inscribed on a Weathered Tomb, which can be randomly encountered with or without shadow fire as a scenario room in graveyard levels. Torin's tomb was discovered long before he was found in Shadowplay, a mission introduced with release 2015-05-13.

Modifiers: Determined Eyes and unknown personal color (seems to be a special ghostly white)
