Gold Dragon Helm

	This article is written to clarify a few things but lacks important official information.
	The Gold Dragon Helm costume does not actually exist in-game. Reasons are unknown.

The following image was posted officially on the Steam newsfeed in June 2014: ^here

This seems normal, it looks like the preceeding news image for Iron costumes.

But while the Gold Wolf Helm and Gold Wolf Armor were released for players in Spiral Knights, the "Gold Dragon Helm" and the "Gold Dragon Armor" were not.

They don't seem to have been released to the public anywhere.

This is not unusual for a news image - news images often contain items that are "impossibly" positioned and/or colored with unavailable hues.

While the item does not exist in-game, there were icons made. These were uploaded in haste before editors and players gradually became aware of the lack of Gold Dragon costumes:

It seems clear that this set was designed to be released but for some reason was not. Players do not have much information on this, but it might have something to do with the Storm Dragon Helm.

Gold Dragon Wings were still released.
