History
The Creation
Dammasta and Artistbma were both in the same guild before creating this one. Artistbma was an officer in that guild. But sadly, he got in somewhat of a fight with the Guild Master and was demoted to member. Artistbma, annoyed, rage quitted. Later that day, on August 13th 2012, Dammasta asked Artistbma why he wasn't in the guild. He explained the situation and said he was going to make a guild. Dammasta revealed he had always wanted to make a guild before, and they decided to make one together. They split the costs, 65/35, Artistbma paying a bit more. Dammasta couldn't be there for the creation, though, he had to take a break from Spiral Knights for a bit. So Artistbma created it alone the next morning.
Names, Names, Names
Now Artistbma had to come up with a name. But there were so many to choose from! He thought of several different ones he thought were decent, such as Stamina, Betrayal, Midknight. But Stamina sounded like a Rigorous wanna-be. And Betrayal was too dedicated to what Artistbma had experienced in his last guild. And Midknight just... wasn't the right one for the job. Then it hit him, Everlasting. It sounded like a good name. But, Artistbma didn't think it was the best. He was asking a friend what she thought of Everlasting, and she said just make your name in another language. So, he did. Everlasting brought up several things, such as Aeternus (Extreme Happiness) and Imortalitas (Forever). Artistbma liked it a lot. Forever in Happiness. Thats what the guild would be like. It would be so zany, so fun, so friendly, recruits could stay in it for as long as they liked. And so, it happened. Artistbma named the guild Aeternus Imortalitas.
The Drought
After a few months of Aeternus Pride, Dammasta had to go afk for a few months. Without him, Aeternus Imortalitas was in a bad state, and was recruiting very slowly, and members were dropping like flies. So, Artistbma and Shadowpizza decided to promote two new officers. Those officers were Redchoccy and Varminttwotwothree. With 4 recruiters, Aeternus Imortalitas got back on track, recruiting their first member in a long time on the same day of the promotion.
The Plague of Officer Inactivity
In December of 2012, Dammasta returned to Spiral Knights and helped Artistbma both manage the guild and recruit new members. But officers Bluesupernovah and Shadowpizza became very inactive, officer Varmintwotwothree became a bit inactive, and officer Snarfalarkus didn't recruit as much. This thoroughly cut into the recruiting process for Aeternus Imortalitas. One day, Redchoccy came up to the Guild Masters and asked if he could become a GM. He had done much for the guild, and after a bit of thought, the Guild Masters decided Redchoccy was more than fit to be a GM. They promoted him, and on the same day Bluesupernovah was demoted. Blurange and Trabias were promoted to officer to take the empty spots. It was a new dawn for the guild.
A Sad Parting
On January 5th, 2013, Redchoccy and Artistbma were discussing their plans for the guild. They had just gotten done talking with Blurange when he logged off. Then suddenly, the system said "Blurange has left Aeternus Imortalitas." This sparked controversy, as it is not everyday that an officer leaves a guild. Later Artistbma discovered Blurange had quit Spiral Knights. This opened up a spot for a new officer.
A Sadder Parting Turned Around
Later in January, Dammasta the part-founder of the guild, left. He didn't think Aeternus Imortalitas was like it had been in the early days. After Dammasta had been gone for a week, Redchoccy and Artistbma decided to hold Officer Elections. A hefty amount of votes came in, but before the results were announced, Dammasta asked if he could rejoin. But this time, as an officer, because he didn't want the Guild Master responsibility. Then the winners of the election were announced. Steamu became a new officer and Bluesupernovah earned her rank again. This meant there were now 6 officers, and Artistbma only wanted 5. So, long due, he promoted Varminttwotwothree to Guild Master. And Aeternus Imortalitas was ready for anything.
Officers And Members
In February of 2013, it seemed to be proven that only the Guild Masters were recruiting. The officers hadn't recruited anyone in a long time. So Artistbma, Redchoccy, and Varminttwotwothree decided to switch around the ranks. They demoted Trabias and Snarfalarkus; both hadn't recruited for a few months. In their place, they promoted Kwarrior, Cyji, and Gzilla to the rank of officer. These new officers enjoyed recruiting and did it often. Although Artistbma wasn't completely on board with having 6 officers, it was very beneficial to the guild. The guild population rose to max capacity, 100 members. Artistbma was overjoyed and even gave a small speech. That same night, the 150 membership limit upgrade was bought. From there on, more members kept coming everyday.
The Unknown
Redchoccy left the guild because he didn't like how it was becoming. Artistbma almost did the same, but was convinced by his Guildmates to stay on one condition. He got to have a break from all the GM work for a little bit. So Artist didn't do a thing for a week, then he AFKed from the game for another week. When he returned, trouble was at every corner. Raiduiwill had left to make his own guild, bringing a couple of members with him. Slashshot had left the guild to join Impervious. Filled with worry, Artistbma called a Guild Meeting.
Trouble
The Guild Meeting Artistbma had called solved close to nothing. Problems were everywhere, and people were leaving. A final counsel of the GMs and officers was held. They had to figure out what to do. If they didn't, the guild would die. Artistbma was so inactive, he couldn't work at full power to solve the problems. It seemed like all hope was gone. But then, Artistbma's friend, and former guildmate, came to him with an idea. An idea about a guild merge.
Bottom of the Pit
Sadly, the merge was cancelled, and two more GMs, including the founder of the guild, Artistbma, left. The guild was a lost cause: members kept leaving, and a deep sadness filled the members still in the guild. Aeternus Imortalitas had lost its Eternal Happiness. It seemed like the guild was over. This was... the end.
A Light of Hope
Just then, Redchoccy returned to the guild and immediately a new workaround started. He helped with kicking all inactive members once and for all, putting everything back where it belonged, and getting old members back. Aeternus Imortalitas had come back from it's death. With this new age, the guild could go on, and continue to recruit to keep its original promise.
Back and Gone Again
A month or two later, on May 14th, Artistbma private-messaged Windpathy. Windpathy was Artistbma's friend from the guild, and she was now an officer. So, Artistbma asked her to send him an invite to Aeternus Imortalitas. He had spent the months away in Impervious, which was a wonderful guild, but he belonged in Aeternus Imortalitas. So it was done. Once Redchoccy logged on, he promoted Artistbma to Guild Master without question. This was because Artistbma had done the same for him, when he left. This helped even more with recruiting and managing the guild, because after Artistbma's break, he was energized and ready to help. Sadly, the next day, Artistbma logged on to see he was a member, demoted by Redchoccy. Redchoccy thought he didn't deserve to be a Guild Master. So, Artistbma left and rejoined Impervious.
Everlasting
This guild will be everlasting. The history is being made longer with every day. For Aeternus Imortalitas will never die.

Rules and Punishments
Ground Rules
These rules are rules the entire guild must abide, no matter what rank:
- No excessive profanity: This includes speaking sexually, posting harmful links, and/or arousing others (loosely enforced). Not following this rule will result in warning or demotion.
- Stay active: 2 weeks or more of inactivity without telling an Officer/GM ahead of time will result in demotion or removal from the guild.
- Keep our good name: Don't insult other guilds while out adventuring or chatting, this makes the guild look bad.
- Don't beg: This goes without saying, it's just annoying and noobish. Not following this rule will result in warning or demotion if excessive.
- Don't ask for promotions: You'll earn it in time. Not following this rule will result in warning or demotion.
- Stay friendly to guild-mates: Light play and teasing are allowed, but don't cross any boundaries.
Renting Rules
The rules in this section must be followed if you are renting a room within the walls of the Guild Hall no matter the rank:
- Pay your rent: If you have a room, pay the rent please. It goes without saying that if we don't have enough money we're going to have to get rid of some cool stuff, so pay up. Rent is 5,000 crowns and is due every week on Saturday. If you have multiple room add 5,000 for each room to your total rent (IE: Have 3 rooms well then you better pay 15,000 crs.). See Rule 4 of this section for punishment
- Buy your furniture with your money: If we have extra beds or plants we aren't using, then by all means use them, but if you want to make your floor different or want a really fancy lamp then you better have enough money to buy it for again no money no cool things. When you buy your item just deposit the money into the treasury. See Rule 4 of this section for punishment
- Clean your trash: If you decide to leave the guild we will hold nothing against you as long as you clear out your room or tell an Officer if you can't. If you are leaving but planning on coming back please tell us so we don't accidentally clean out your room, or if you can't tell us put on your door: (ON LEAVE). Not doing so will just annoy the crap out of everyone.
- Not paying up: Not paying rent or for the furniture is a serious offence doing so will result in a demotion every week it is not payed until you are expelled from the guild. The Rent will also add up indefinitely each week even after you are expelled from the guild until it is payed off.
Member+ Rules
- Don't hoard items in storage: Use your best judgment on what is excessive; take only what you need (feeding your pet isn't "needed"). Not following this rule will result in warning or demotion.
- Ask for higher materials from those with a higher rank: 4 and 5 star materials are kept in veteran and officer storage, respectively. You will need to ask a(n) veteran/officer for those materials if needed.
Veteran+ Rules
- Energy well has a fee: In order to withdraw 100 Energy from the well, deposit 6,000 crowns into the treasury first (wells located in veteran and guild master rooms). Not following this rule will result in warning or demotion.
- Ask for higher materials from those with a higher rank: 5 star materials are kept in officer storage. You will need to ask an officer for those materials if needed.
Officer+ Rules
- Do not abuse your power: Only demote/kick members of the guild if they have broken the rules above.
- Recruit properly: Invite them to the guild first, then ask questions once they have joined. If they qualify, they can stay in the guild.
- Do not make any big decisions: If someone is causing a problem you can not handle, contact a GM and tell them the problem, so that they can help you sort it out.
- 5* material withdrawal fee: The withdrawal fee for 5* materials within the officer storage is 1,000 crowns, all Coliseum materials are 2,250 crowns, and all Shadow Lair materials are 3,500 crowns. This gets deposited into the treasury. Not following this rule will result in warning or demotion.
Guild Master Rules
If you achieve this rank, ask an existing guild master for special rules that pertain to guild masters.
