Enter Groat's kitchen. Battle through Creep Cakes, Current Cakes, and various constructs to find out what's wrong with Groat.

On the right side of the map is a freezer-like area featuring freeze grate and slush block hazards. Find a button hidden in the area and retrieve the key. On the left side of the map is an oven-like area featuring fire that must be removed with water orbs. Retrieve the key to continue to the boss fight. Ignore respawning monsters.

A giant "mixing bowl" is the location of the miniboss fight. It is a relatively harmless vortex that moves players and monsters around the central mixers between waves.

: The fire and freeze grates seem to be reminiscent of the hazards of a real world industrial sized kitchen. In addition to these, there are several militaristic hazards strewn about, similar to those used in Gremlin warfare.

Dread Velvet's "Guuurgle! Such strength! You shall be consumed and your power added to my own!" is a reference to the Borg from Star Trek franchise. The line in question from Star Trek is "[...] You will be assimilated! We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. [...]", meaning that 'consumption' is equal to 'assimilation'. Once a person is assimilated, he or she will become a Borg Drone. Same happened to Groat after he was consumed. Both the consumed ones and Borg drones can be liberated.
