Hunter X Hunter is a guild that was created for the sole purpose of having fun and active people to do runs with. We help out newer players by sharing our vast knowledge that we have gained throughout our many runs in the clockworks and we will always strive to be a top of the line guild.

Benefits of being in HxH

1) A bunch of fun people to hang with and to learn from.

2) A place to belong. You may roll your eyes at this, but how many guilds will accept you at your word and hold you to a standard of integrity?

3) Lots of boss spamming (Jelly King, Roar Twins, and Vanaduke).

4) A strong guild that will shape you into a hard-hitting power player.

Rankings

Recruit: Recruits are new members to the guild. To be recruited you need full three star armor, a three star shield, and one three star weapon. You must prove that you have skill by going on a run with a veteran, officer, or guildmaster.

Member: For members status you must have FULL four star star armor, four star shield, and one five star weapon or other piece of gear. To be promoted to member you must be active in guildchat, have enemy weaknesses memorized, and show that you have the drive to become a high level player!

Veteran: Veterans are highly skilled, active, and have a deep knowledge of the game (did I mention AWESOME!?). To be promoted to veteran you must have full 5* gear and one 5* weapon (this does not include trinkets). Veterans must have deep knowledge of the game, be active, and help new guildies by answering their questions. Veterans must be active in guildchat and show that they possess they skills to wield their equipment properly.

Officer: Officers are members of the guild who are trusted with recruitment, evaluation, and representing HxH. For officer status you must have the full trust of all existing officers and guildmasters. As an officer it will be your duty to recruit strong members, evaluate guild members, and have a good code of conduct. That means no arguing about petty things, no trolling on anyone of lesser rank, and having a good attitude about helping out lower ranking members (this does not mean that you have to give away all your stuff to them, in fact this is strongly discouraged because we want guildies to have a strong sense of accomplishment).

Guildmaster: Test is still TBD (to be determined)

Guild Rules

1) No begging whatsoever! If we see you begging for free handouts you will be warned only ONCE, if you do not comply you will be kicked. This applies to begging for promotions and good deals from guildies.

2) Treat other guildies and players with the respect they deserve. Keep trolling to a minimum, if it is getting out of hand then we will warn you.

3) Keep swearing to a minimum. We do not want you spamming curses in guildchat just because you are angered by something.

4) If you wish to invite a guildie to a run, you must ask first before you send the invite. An invite during a run or event is very inconvenient.

5) If you're not going to be online a lot, please notify Kurapika by sending him a PM. Otherwise, we may deem you as an inactive.

6) Try to do runs with other guildies at least once a week so you can get to know them better.

Recruitment Information

If you are looking join join HxH we will ask you the following questions:

1) What is your age? (Note: You must be at least 15 years old to join, and please try not to use too many abbreviations in chat such as: "u, ur, etc...". We may make small exceptions to this one rule, but it will mostly depend on your activity and skill.)

2) How often were you on in the last week? And how often do you plan on playing in the future?

3) Tell us two things you are looking for in a guild.

4) On a scale of one to ten, what would you rate yourself as in PvE? Do you rely on party members, or do you prefer soloing?

5) What is 5 + 5? (The answer is... Bacon of course! Psh!)

Notes: Your gear must be full three star in order to join. If you are rejected from joining, don't give up, we like persistence.

Announcements

There is going to be an inactivity sweep for HxH coming up soon! We will message everyone in the guild on October 15th! When we send the messages we will remove you from the guild and send a re-invite! Every inactive player will be removed in one fell swoop! Plus the new rankings will apply, so there will be many promotions! If you have any questions about this please mail Kurapika.

Guild Alliances

Aside from being friendly towards our own members, we also set up formal guild alliances. They work like this:

1. We'll help each other with getting recipes when we reach Basil in a Clockworks Terminal.

2. We'll do inter-guild runs together, meaning that members from other guilds will be able to play more easily with their friends.

3. We will plan LD or BN matches against each other for some competitive fun!

Guildcrafting, as the GM of the guild (Kurapika) has collected all the 2* recipes and most of the 3* recipes, he can craft you anything just for the CE cost and the materials.

Shields can also have resistance to one or more damage types or status effects; this reduces the amount of health the shield loses when blocking that type of damage or status. Thus, a shield with normal and elemental defense will break more quickly when subjected to piercing or shadow damage, but will hold up longer against normal or elemental damage. Shieldbearer Guide
None of a shield's stats provides any direct benefit to you; the damage you take when your shield is lowered (or broken) is completely unaffected by the type or level of your equipped shield. A shield's stats only protect the shield.
