Discuss

The health bonuses are correct only for T3 and not for lower tiers. Can someone get some data on this? The health increase may be a percentage of your base health--Trying 11:56, 28 December 2011 (UTC)

Bomb Attack Speed

This page claims Guardian and Recon receive increased attack speed for bombs. That seems unlikely. --Antistone 00:25, 15 September 2011 (UTC)

--All information is gained from recent patch notes. Though it is rather odd, it is true. http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/25091 --Kazamh 02:30, 15 September 2011 (UTC)

I realize the text is copied directly from an official announcement, but that is not the same thing as true. I would appreciate it if someone could verify...and, if it is true, explain to me what on earth that actually means. --Antistone 04:31, 15 September 2011 (UTC)

Thank You All!!!

I really appreciate all this help with the page! It was really simple when I made it, and I could only update it so fast. I love the work that everyone has put into making this an informative, reliable, and all around nice looking page! Ty! Ty! Ty! --Kazamh 14:26, 16 September 2011 (UTC)

Class Ability Usage Limits

I thought I might try to verify some of this information before posting it on the main page, but I thought my initial observations might still be helpful:

  • There's a health bar at the top of the screen showing the charge remaining on your special ability
  • Striker Dash has about 2 seconds of use time, and seems to recharge fully and instantly after a couple seconds of non-use
  • Guardian Shield seems to follow the same recharge mechanics as a normal shield; you can use it forever if you don't take damage, it regenerates pretty quickly after a short period of not taking damage, but it gets broken for a while if the health is reduced to zero. I think the broken time is less than for a shield in PvE, though.
  • Haven't gotten a good look at Disruption Field's recharge yet

I appreciate you posting it in here, to confirm it before taking a crack at the main page.
Yes, the health bar does show remaining time on the ability. :P
3 Seconds actually.

Compare to striker?

I'd rather ask before editing, so... Why are we comparing the base health of each class to the striker? To be fair, I'd say we should put a comparison of each one's health for each class. i.e. Striker health is -12 when compared to Guardian, and -10 when compared to Recon, and so on and so forth. Or simply remove it all and keep the game's ranking for health (Striker is -3, Guardian +9, Recon +7), which honestly would look much cleaner. ExTribble 11:23, 5 February 2012 (UTC)

I think we should just have the base health. In normal play this would be 5, but for a striker the base health is 2, Guardian base health is 14 and recon base health is 12. --HexZyle 10:15, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
I might be kinda thick-headed here, but I think that might just lead to some confusion, especially with people new to Lockdown. I'm thinking they might think that each class actually has the health you mentioned (Striker: 2, Guardian: 14, Recon: 12) as a maximum to start with and confuse them. Many people tend to not look at the Health bonus of their armor and just take it for granted as the health they're used to seeing (Even I used to do this :P). So if with the health boosts of my armor my total health is, say 15, I might think that Striker penalizes me all the way down to 2 with that class. Yet if you use the game description, people would look at Striker (for instance) as having three less health than you'd usually have, which to me is much clearer since it's relative to your current total health. Your thoughts? :S ExTribble 15:48, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
Then have: Striker, base health 2 (-3 health penalty). Guardian, base health of 14 (+9 health bonus) etc.
Should we have both written or just the penalty/bonus? Which way looks better?--HexZyle 01:44, 7 February 2012 (UTC)
I'm comfortable having both, as long as the net penalty/bonus is shown it'll be clear. I'll update it a bit later if there's no objection. ExTribble 13:00, 7 February 2012 (UTC)

Several Points Seem Unclear

This Page does not make it clear if Roles are Assigned Randomly or decided by a Lockdown Team Captain or somesuch.

It is also unclear weither the Level of Equipped Gears is reflected in the Defense/Damages, or if all Gears are automatically bumped up to Level 10 Powers in Lockdown.

Adding Information about Minimum Number of Players Per Team

I can see that the page mentions the maximum number of players per team, but maybe we could also include the minimum number of players per team (I think it's 4). --Avak989 17:19, 16 March 2013 (UTC)
