A Town is a fixed location.

Haven is located on the surface. It is home to the Strangers, who provide sanctuary for knights.
Moorcroft Manor is a subtown, located in every gate at depth 8 and populated by Undead.
Emberlight is another subtown, located in every gate at depth 18 and populated by Gremlins.
