Description

A steam-charged sword said to be created by the ancient technomancers of millennia past.

Attacks

Basic Attack

The sword has a 2 swing combo. The first swing is a simple sideswipe much like the normal Troika. However, there is a pause in between the first and second swing, in which the blade lengthens to about 1.6 times the previous size (and reach). The second swing happens very quickly, causing a small grey explosion (like the Warmaster Rocket Hammer, and, due to the greater reach, hitting more enemies. Both hits deal the same amount of damage.

However, with shield canceling, the user has 2 options. Without shield canceling, there is a much larger pause in between the 2 attacks, but the reach for the second attack is significantly greater. With shield canceling, the sword attacks faster (as the pause initiated by the second attack does not occur), but the second attack is the same as the first, with normal range.

Charge Attack

The charge time for this sword is 3/4 the time for the Gran Faust to charge. The charge is similar to the Troika charge, with an overhead smash dealing the same damage as a normal attack. However, if the attack key is pressed down and held, a risky, but dangerous, charge happens to the enemy that was the target of the attack (as in targeted by auto-aim; if no enemy is targeted, then the following part of the charge never occurs). The targeted enemy is pinned in place while the top part of the sword drills into them, dealing a certain amount of damage 4 times per second. The damage has a high chance of making the enemy flinch, preventing them from moving away or attacking in retaliation. This 'drill' can be maintained for up to 3 seconds, after which the final part of the charge occurs-an explosion (size of expanded Polaris bullet) that blasts enemies away (the knockback distance is that of a Lumber). This explosion is split Normal/Elemental damage. So the charge is basically divided into 3 parts:

• Initial smash
• Drill into 1 enemy (optional, skipped if attack key is not held down)
• Final explosion

Damage

The following damage values represent the weapon at its completed level, without any UV or bonus from other equipment, and listed as a range found from the first to last floor of each stratum.

Description

An upgraded version of the 3starname that was said to have been originally crafted to combat Tortodrones.

Basic Attack

As the 3 star, except the explosion colors are yellow.

Charge Attack

As the 3starname, but the drill may be held for up to 4 seconds. The explosion a the end is also yellow in color.

The following damage values represent the weapon at its completed level, without any UV or bonus from other equipment, and listed as a range found from the first to last floor of each stratum.

Recipe

The 4-star recipe for this item costs 10,000 crowns; the alchemy cost is 2,500 crowns. Below are the materials needed to make the Hortumalx/Sandbox/Troika Competition.

As the 3starname, but the drill may be held for up to 5 seconds. The explosion a the end is also orange in color.

The following damage values represent the weapon at its completed level, without any UV or bonus from other equipment, and listed as a range found from the first to last floor of each stratum.

The 5-star recipe for this item costs 25,000 crowns; the alchemy cost is 5,000 crowns. Below are the materials needed to make the Hortumalx/Sandbox/Troika Competition.
