:I'll look into this more deeply tomorrow, or possibly later tonight. Vials are [[pickup]]s, vitapods are [[consumable]]s. Leave obsolete pages alone. Leave Punch and Vise alone, I have something else in mind involving tickets. We can't even edit the Supply Depot page (it is protected because it directly involves the "real money" in-game currency of energy), and it's very different from an NPC vendor, so we would leave it alone anyway. --[[User:Novaster|Novaster]] 03:36, 2 January 2016 (UTC)

==APNG images==
I understand your point completly, maybe we should keep them in the monster section but add them in the exploration section too (Firestorm Citadel and Grinchin Assault). I consider that the 'construct-launcher' is the monster and the spiked wheel is the [[exploration]] element (that is why I didnt add Grinchlin Assault into the location of the Wheel Launcher, because only the spiked wheels appear). Don't forget that we will probably see Wheel Launchers again in the incoming new FSC mission! - ''Sir Onox''

:I'm not sure what your point is with APNG. It works with other browsers and it's what we use on this wiki. What do you mean "make images of rare items"? What would be an example? Also, you can sign your posts with <nowiki>--~~~~</nowiki> to save a lot of time.--[[User:Novaster|Novaster]] 02:33, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
 +
::The reason APNG is used on the wiki is because it uses the .png extension. The GMs won't add additional file types or change the configuration, so that's what we gotta use if we want something better than GIF. --[[User:Icytea|Icytea]] 06:41, 4 June 2016 (UTC)

== Monster Visuals ==

:::I can make GIF with few clicks, really fast. About APNG, i installed Chrome extension, but all i can do is to see all frames of animation.
Seems a good idea, specially if we start with dangerous monsters like Almirian Crusaders, Mecha Knights or Deadnaughts, how we should make this? Have you an early concept about how the article should be done? - ''Sir Onox''

== Crash Site ==

:::About rare items, it may be costume accessories from early promos, something that is incredibly hard to find nowadays. I'm ready to work with it, but i'm not ready to search for it. I spent a lot of time in search of proto armor, that's why i don't know how to restore wiki effortlessly.--[[User:Rrrrex|Rrrrex]] 13:26, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
I have been updating [[The Ancient Generator]] and [[Crossing the Chasm]] with your new interface and looks pretty good, but what about Crash Site? It doesn't have a 'card mission', should I just add the pink-purple-gate like image for the level? - ''Sir Onox'
+
:I'd look through the files and try to find a visual like this one [https://youtu.be/nfo24SNqTeM?t=72 here]. Or just a picture of the crash site, or the crash pod you see when making a knight. Or I can do that later and add in a size control parameter so the infobox stays reasonable. -[[User:Novaster|Novaster]] 19:45, 14 May 2015 (UTC)
+
:Oh! Since it's not exactly a mission, you probably shouldn't use the mission page format - treat it like a geographical area. Basically, if it doesn't have a card thing in the menu...ah, here, [[Moorcroft Manor]] is a good example of a geographical area page. That being said, I was planning on sprucing those up. I'd leave this mini project alone for now and focus on the new stuff. -[[User:Novaster|Novaster]] 19:52, 14 May 2015 (UTC)

Your [http://wiki.spiralknights.com/index.php?title=Template%3AMonster&diff=193076&oldid=136632 edit] here broke the centering of the images (as well as the "Tier X" text), which looks strange in my opinion as it leaves a lot of blank space on monsters that only have one image. I'd try to fix it myself, but I have no idea what your edit even does and I don't want to accidentally break something else messing with it. ~[[User:Katmint|<b><font color="117FD9">katsy</font></b>]] 23:26, 14 May 2015 (UTC)

== About Shroud ==
 +
About recent edits to the Shroud of the Apocrea page, I just wanted to explain my reasoning on the edit. Since Haven has had the same visual effect during every Shroud event, I removed the reference in the calendar on the most recent one, thinking that it had been mentioned up above. It turns out this wasn't the case on a second look. I won't remove the mention again, but do you think it might be suited better listed under the first event's details section on the calendar? --[[User:Wired Wolf|Wired Wolf]] 6:15, 5 June 2016 (UTC)
 +
:No, because that particular spooky weather effect was for the Dark Harvest Festival (the third instance of DHF occurred simultaneously with the first Apocrea in 2013, confusing many players), and had nothing to do with Apocrea - no Apocrea events had their own spooky weather in Haven until the (current) 5th occurrence. If Apocrea continues to have spooky weather in future occurrences, then we will make a note of that in the bulk page text, and reword the calendar so that it's clear the 5th was the first time the weather was intended for Apocrea. Something like "as of this event, weather is blah." Avoid extrapolation and misleading historical information. --[[User:Novaster|Novaster]] 20:08, 7 June 2016 (UTC)

::Well, looks like I'm wrong on a few levels. I just remember [http://i.imgur.com/OFB6aCf.png uploading this in 2015]. Maybe my game was just being derpy. :Actually, same-appearance monster images were not centered in published form before my edit. I kept it like it was (to the left) and I've always thought it was weird. If it had been center, I would have kept it centered. I'll center it now if that's what users want. The tier X text was also unaffected - the published monster templates all show them just fine. The edit merely makes it easier for people to upload images. A discussion about that can be found [http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/107692 here].

I assume you mean the text above each image.

Hypothesis: fog is normal, but I happened to upload a pic during the weird super short event, which might just be the one event that didn't have fog. I'd like more proof before editing the page with conclusive information. --[[User:Novaster|Novaster]] 20:30, 7 June 2016 (UTC)

I'm going to re-done the battle sprites missions with this new format, I dont think to find some trouble editing now, heh. ==Icons & Stuff==

Well, I like the 'generic' gate icons, seems that there is a lot of work to do reconstructing the old mission articles, specially with the progression part.
+
Is it really necessary adding the "no-adventure missions" in the ''Preceded by'' and ''Followed by''? I would prefer if the preceded/followed part skip to the next "adventure mission" instead just a "listen mission". I don't know how to say this correctly, but I think that you understand me with this little trouble. - ''Sir Onox''
+
:Yes yes! Im glad that im not the only one who thinks that the list of missions article looks a bit chaotic now. Maybe the "no-adventure missions" deserve his own article too, but yup, I agree that people are interested in the SK lore so maybe we should do those kind of missions too. Tell me when you finish the changes for the missions structure, it is very tedious re-editing the old missions all of time x_x - ''Sir Onox''

+
:That was you? Oh boy. First off, introduce yourself. That was just another beggar talking, no clue at all that it was you from the wiki. But that ultimately doesn't matter: Asking me, or anyone, for money of any kind (8 elite orbs, or, 5, as you say now) is wildly inappropriate, unless you or someone you care about would die without it. It doesn't matter that you don't need them anymore, you're just going to ask for something else. ''think before your reply you in-game mails'' - I auto-ignore beggars after years of trying to convince every beggar I've seen to not beg, with a 100% failure rate. It's pretty simple. -[[User:Novaster|Novaster]] 05:17, 31 May 2015 (UTC)

::::I generally don't read user pages on the wiki unless it's by request or they need to be edited for ToS reasons. I don't have time for that kind of thing with all the work I do here and irl. The wiki isn't a social blog and user pages have that flavor. This still doesn't excuse begging. "Follow-up notes" like these are not necessary. The point of my lecture above was so that you make polite, mature mails introducing yourself with lots of information. The world does not revolve around single people, you can't expect everyone to be on the ball about everything all the time. Please stop contacting me. The only reason I contact you is to deal with mistakes and damage you've done. -[[User:Novaster|Novaster]] 09:32, 5 June 2015 (UTC)

Vendor List Changes

Should I make changes on the following pages?:

Punch and Vise - These don't give actual items but just services

Supply Depot - Not actually a vendor

Boost, Ursula, Quince, Rudkin - Obsolete

Also, what type are vials and vitapods? Materials? --Snarbylord 02:21, 2 January 2016 (UTC)

Materials don't really have a subtype, just leave it blank. Subtype is something we do to help users, it's not really an in-game arsenal-influencing thing. --Novaster 20:24, 2 January 2016 (UTC)
