Damage type(s) and Attack Speed influence combat. The attack style of the weapon in relation to the combat environment is also important. Consider both when choosing weapons to wield.


Boosts and Penalties are both considered "abilities" in general. Many items don't have any special abilities. See the Abilities page for details. Some enemies are immune to certain status conditions - see individual status pages for details.

All weapons gain these CTR bonuses as they level.
  • Level 5+: CTR: Low
  • Level 10: CTR: Medium

The Zapper is a 1-star handgun.


A modified Proto Gun augmented with a low intensity electrical charge.


Basic Attack

Left: Normal shot, Right: Charged shot

Fires a ball of electricity up to 8 squares away. The projectiles move at medium speed and the user may fire up to 3 shots before reloading.
There is no recoil when using the basic attack and the user can move at approximately half speed while firing.

Charge Attack

Fires a bigger ball of electricity that travels up to 9 squares and explodes on impact, harming anything within a radius of 0.5 square.
The projectile has the same speed as the basic attack, will knockback enemies, and has a chance to inflict Shock on hit.
The recoil from the shot will push the user back 2/3 of a square.
