The Maskeraith is a battle sprite.

The Maskeraith is a Battle Sprite.

Description

The Maskeraith is a ghastly battle sprite that focuses on debilitating its foes with its offensive attacks and allows its knight to slink stealthily around enemies.

Acquisition

The Maskeraith is obtained as a mission reward by choosing it in the 2-3 Rank Mission "An Eternal Bond."

If the player did not choose Maskeraith as their battle sprite, then the player can buy a Maskeraith Pod from the Supply Depot.

Abilities

Augments

When a sprite levels up, they gain skill points which can be spent on augments for the sprite's abilities.

Sprites eventually obtain all skill points as they level.

Caustic Quills:

Focus: Reduces skill cooldown.

Venom: Increases the potency of poison.

Bristle: Increases the number of quills fired and their duration.

Shadow Cloak:

Focus: Reduces skill cooldown.

Dark Veil: Increases the defensive boost of the shadow cloak.

Enduring Night: Increases duration of the shadow cloak.

Hexing Haze:

Focus: Reduces skill cooldown.

No Mercy: Increases the damage inflicted by hexing haze.

Plentiful Pain: Increases the bonus duration of hexing haze as additional targets are acquired.

Ultimates

The Maskeraith can choose one "ultimate" for each of its three abilities.

Caustic Quills can be turned into Vengeful Quills or Virulent Quills at level 90.

Shadow Cloak can be turned into Deadly Shadow Cloak or Vengeful Shadow Cloak at level 95.

Hexing Haze can be turned into Haunted Haze or Chaotic Haze at level 100.

The ultimate chosen will change the appearance of the sprite. Below is a gallery displaying some of these "Ultimate Appearances."

Ultimates can be reset with a Reset Star.

Maskeraith (Punkin)

The Maskeraith (Punkin) is a color variant of the Maskeraith - a "Reskin."

Notes

The Maskeraith is the third battle sprite to get a reskin.
