The Golden Slime Casino mentioned in this item's description is likely similar to a Mysterious Room. Casinos were glimpsed by several explorers in the past previous to their official release during the 5th Winterfest before their prompt removal.
A single coin briefly showed up in the Featured Auction House 20 May 2016, perhaps to both draw attention to and confirm the official release of the item, which had previously been dubious.
