More than One Guild Page
okay 2 guild pages, Vigilance and Decima, i created those 2, first one is Decima, first time editing, i complete it but when i logged off to look at it, its so dang short and no completion but when i logged on everything was there, i thought u guys wuld see the guild page so dang short and no completion so, i thought its a disaster so creating another page called Vigilance.
Which one is your guild's name? You shouldn't have two pages for one guild :P. If your guild is named "Vigilance", then make a page named "Vigilance (Guild)" and refer to the guild as "Vigilance" for the entire page. If it's "Decima", then do that for "Decima" instead, on the "Decima (Guild)" page. If you feel like a page is "a disaster", put it up for deletion. Novaster 01:47, 12 June 2014 (UTC)
P.S just take the delete tag off of the page you don't want deleted (and put it on the one you do). Novaster 02:06, 12 June 2014 (UTC)
Askulan
http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Asukalan Why is it a candidate for speedy deletion? Someone got jealous or there is something wrong with that page (or someone sees something wrong with it)? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Asukalan (talk • contribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~
- The wiki's policy only allows pages about knights at User:(account name). The one you have at User:Asukalan is fine. ~Katmint 17:37, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
Ok, thats most inconvinient, that way when you just type someones nick id does not show up in search, is there anywhere a set of those Wiki policies so i can read them and know what to avoid in future? A set of rules? ~Asukalan
- Category:Wiki_policy is a good start, though the rule I mentioned isn't listed there since not making pages about yourself outside of the User namespace is a pretty much a global rule with wikis. ~Katmint 19:56, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
- If you want to search namespaces go to Special:Preferences and change your search options to include users.--Trying 20:08, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
Thanks ~Asukalan
Hey, how long does it takes for an Admin to delete a page that is a candidate for speedy deletion? Because that site http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Asukalan is marked for 'speedy' deletion for almost 2 weeks now. Could it mean that the person who is supposed to delete page decided that its fine to make it stay? --Asukalan 07:30, 12 August 2012 (UTC)
- Equinox hasn't been doing much for the past month or so. I'm guessing she's on vacation and only deleting the important things right now.--Trying 13:18, 12 August 2012 (UTC)
Mk III Alchemers
All Mk III Alchemers are here since they no longer exist.--D0gr0ck 21:31, 5 April 2011 (UTC)
- I was under the impression that they still existed, just under different names. In that case, it would make more sense to move the mk III pages and create a redirect, instead of deleting them. --Pauling 21:52, 5 April 2011 (UTC)
- I can confirm they still exist; The names only changed. Voltech MKIII is now Volt Driver, Firotech MKIII is now Firo Driver, Cryotech MKIII is now Cryo Driver. Prismatech MKIII has changed to Prisma Driver, and the five-star version is now called Nova Driver. Shadowtech MKIII also changed to Shadow Driver, however I am not sure of the new name for the five-star. --Kakelgis 22:02, 5 April 2011 (UTC)
- The pages should stick around as redirects in case of old timers searching for them. --Equinox 22:21, 5 April 2011 (UTC)
Llamas
Who is it hurting? If nobody ever finds it then why NOT let this page continue to exist?-- Wombatlad
Punch and Vise
Edit: Nevermind.
Bear
DO NOT DELETE BEAR —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bearftw (talk • contribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~
- Why not? If you want to make something like that you can just do it on your user page. ~Katmint 19:06, 24 July 2011 (UTC)
Item List
Do not delete it, I have been working on it for some hours and it is almost ready, just have to include armor. —Preceding unsigned comment added by AxorPLwiki (talk • contribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~
- Um, I don't think we need it. Nothing links to it, and this is essentially a more organized version, which renders the Item List redundant. ~Katmint 21:01, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
- Update is ready, delete it if you find it unnecessary, but I think it's better than Equipment for players who know what they are searching for. --AxorPLwiki 20:02, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
Icy, Regal, Toasty, Toxic, Volcanic, GM Winged Helmet
All these pages were created by me, and since then I have renamed them. Since users aren't allowed to move categories, I've had to recreate them and delete the old ones. The GM winged helmet already existed, under a different name. I merged all the info in, I just need the old page deleted. --HexZyle 09:26, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
Tokxin
He is a steam user and I (Brychan) have been creating a wiki page for him so he can have a user page. If I should prefix the page with something please tell me, I considered doing Steam_user:Tokxin ... thanks admins! Here is the page marked for speedy deletion: Tokxin
- User pages need to be in the User namespace and they need to use account names that exist for the beginning part of it. Your Tokxin page has been moved to User:Brychan/Tokxin instead and you can edit it there. If Tokxin wants a user page, he'll need to create a spiralknights.com account. --Equinox 03:58, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
User: Julie988
Quit trolling me, Trying. She is my sister and would not like to be offended.
- It's not offensive to accidentally be tagged for deletion and it's an easy mistake when patrolling the wiki & noticing user names not matching up. --Equinox 04:00, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
Cursed Deadnaught Image
Why delete it? It's a legit monster.
- Please sign your comments. The squiggly button that is second to the last puts in the code for it. If you actually read the edit summary, you'll notice there is a misspelling. Dreadnaught is not Deadnaught. --Equinox 03:56, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
User: Utmostprovocative
Why delete it? Please don't, I took my time on it for my guild GM! Raynstorm(cooltigger)
- Because as I said on your page, "User:" pages are for user accounts, not individual characters. The wiki doesn't see a valid account with that name, so I flagged it for deletion. If you wish to have a page for that character, create a sub-page for it, some thing like User:Raynstorm/Utmostprovocative. --Lithium31337 06:16, 20 June 2013 (UTC)
- He's making pages for other people. You need the account name to do that so if they use steam they're kinda screwed.--Trying 15:57, 20 June 2013 (UTC)
Vog Cub Image
It's getting deleted because i forgot to add the obsolete tag? I always check the info before i post something in the wiki and nowhere in the game data or textures are vog cub textures. —Preceding unsigned comment added by DragonFaku (talk • contribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~
File:Wolver Tail1-Equipped.png
- That image links to Template:Accessorysale. The template needs to be edited to complete deletion. --Clotho 05:38, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
- Went in and did that, made sure the Wolver Tail (WITHOUT imagefix) image shows up for it, it does!
why was the culinary category deleted
I want the culinary category back! I need to see the rest of the culinary items
--1462 01:19, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
- Late reply: because it was replaced by a category with a better name: Category:Culinary Family. --Novaster 20:37, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
Es/Plantilla:Want to help?
I am editing the spanish wiki and for some weird reason, i wrote "Es" instead of "es" and now, everytime i click (inside the spanish wiki) to see that template (Plantilla) it send me here and thats why i added info about it xD but it was misunderstod, it was not that i didnt know how to deleted but that it redirects and i have to write the complete url to edit it. So, i would not like it to be deleted (at least that fix the problem of, course)--Hikaru 07:50, 22 August 2015 (UTC)
- Ah, but it has no place on the English wiki. You'll have to work out the linking/cache issues on your end. We can't generate redirects or pseudo redirects between language wikis whenever something like this happens. Until the problem resolves itself internally, I'd suggest copypasting from notepad on your personal device, especially if bookmarking the proper location fails due to the redirecting cache issue, which it likely will. If the problem doesn't resolve itself soon, contact support. --Novaster 14:40, 22 August 2015 (UTC)
- I dont even know why the spanish wiki take me to the english when the actual template exist in the spanish, for some strange reason. Actually i trough this page was in the spanish wiki till i took notice of the lenguage at the top. It was mostly for people who may click the template and came back here. I will have to not use it for now and w8 till its fixed and if not, may have some admi about it because it is pretty weird. Thx for the reply! Sorry for the mess x//x--Hikaru 19:37, 22 August 2015 (UTC)
Why delete my guild page
Why delete the page which I spend 2hours on it and why did you do it and what's the problem!!!? And please remove the delete tag!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Muzammil12 (talk • contribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~
- Before you even wrote this, I posted a note on your talk page here. The delete tags will not be removed for reasons already stated in the editing notes as well as Help:Creating a guild page. --Novaster 00:18, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
- P.S. - the original page content was moved to Evident (Guild), and the pages using common terms ("Evident" and "EVIDENT") were tagged for deletion, not your work. I noticed that you also used the out of date Template:Guild info instead of the current Template:GuildInfo, so that might have made the page look like it was a candidate for deletion because the out of date template displays the deletion tag, which has no bearing on the the page using the template's deletion queue. So, I have fixed these two things, and added [[Category:Guilds]] just in case you decide not to use the current standard template. Before making a ruckus, check your talk page - the wiki gives a nice big notice whenever you have new messages. It's also smart to read up on wiki guides to know how things work. --Novaster 00:33, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
