This costume was introduced with hunter coloration in August 2012.^{Admin Post}

It is one of several "recolored" costumes. It also seems to be a "popular" design, with many other helmet and costume items having a similar shape.

It is probably intended to be in a "set" with the Brigandine, based on the shapes of the Frostbreaker gear items.

This item used to have dull eye sockets. This was changed with release 2012-09-05 so that the eyes are more visible.
