Breaking in the Recruits is a Rank Mission to be completed as a Vanguard (Rank 10). It consists of three levels that feature various Constructs, Beasts and Gremlins.

Description: After braving the depths of Firestorm Citadel, Spiral HQ believes you have earned a much deserved break. As a newly anointed Vanguard of the Spiral Knights, Lieutenant Feron believes you are the perfect candidate for training a group of raw recruits how to survive the dangers of this world. Your mission is to link up with the recruits on the surface of Cradle and help them survive their first tour of duty.
