The Chromalisk is a monster.
Traits
Most of the time, higher tier monsters have all the abilities of preceding tiers, with increased intensity.
Chromalisk Traits by Tier
All Tier
- They resemble chameleons and - depending on the type - attack with either their tongue or by spitting out globs of their saliva, which inflicts a status effect as well as piercing damage, towards enemies and on the floor, where it can still deal damage and statuses for some time.
- All Chromalisks have the ability to camouflage, becoming nearly invisible except for a partially opaque grey outline.
- Chromalisks can dodge projectiles fired at them.

Chromalisks are among the least threatening type of monster found in The Clockworks.
Chromalisks aside from their inherent status are less resistant to
Freeze and more resistant to
Fire and
Poison.
Virulisks love Flan, according to the description of the Virulisk Suit.
Nonna's Retrode seems to have an Electrolisk on his head.
History
- This monster has been encountered since release 2011-04-04 when the game officially launched.

Other
- Prize Wheel Chromalisk: This tricky Chromalisk occasionally sneaks into the Elevator Prize Wheel, and eats a random prize. Landing on him will award the player with nothing. As of 2016.11 18 May 2016, this creature has been replaced by the Kleptolisk.
