Retrode

From SpiralKnights
Retrode
An example of a Retrode
Taxonomy

Gate Icon-Construct.png Construct Family, Grunt Class

Defenses of the Construct family:

Weak to Elemental damage

Resistant to Piercing damage

Neutral to Normal & Shadow damage

The Retrode is a monster.

Traits

Most of the time, higher tier monsters have all the abilities of preceding tiers, with increased intensity.

Strategy

The Retrode Propaganda when Greta informs you about the monsters attacking the Rescue Camp

Notes

Retrodes can be seen attacking the Rescue Camp on the 'Light in the Darkness' stage. However, they will always be killed by Mecha Turrets within seconds of their appearance.

Retrodes can be seen emerging from the ground in the early levels of the game, this ability is not seen later in Clockwork Tunnels.

Despite sharing identical Weakness and Resistance as Construct monsters and clearly being a Retrode itself, Batterbots are not classed as a Construct by the game.

History

  • This monster has been encountered since release 2011-04-04 when the game officially launched.
