This loadout guide is for Firestorm Citadel. It is one of many guides made by players. As such, contents of this page are opinionated.

Loadout Disclaimer
As always, use whatever gear you are most comfortable with, as long as it does not interfere with the strategies and success of the squad. Some gear can be significantly more expensive than others, so you should always factor in economics when considering loadout options for missions. Will the gear help with only a few specific areas, or many? Will it pay for itself quickly, if at all? There is usually more than one way to solve problems - these are what work for many players.
The Citadel is populated by undead and several Trojans. A few beasts and slimes show up, but they are easily dealt with. Fire and Shadow resistant gear and a mix of Elemental and Piercing weapons are ideal. Bear in mind that Vanaduke himself deals fiery Elemental damage, not Shadow.

Grey Owlite Shield (with Stun and Shadow UVs, this shield will protect the player extremely well).

Shivermist Buster (for freezing Vanaduke. Use carefully to avoid making walls of enemies)
Voltedge (for the undead. Its shock helps stutter enemies without preventing shield bumping)

Maskeraith (Deadly Shadow Cloak helps damage Vanaduke, especially his mask)
