Vise is a Gremlin Unbinding Smith in the Bazaar district of Haven.

Vise provides a special service to knights, allowing them to unbind any equipment 1-star or greater that is not costume gear.

On July 23rd, 2011, in relation to changes made with release 2011-07-20, Vatel was moved closer to the Arcade entrance. This was due to the fact that Punch and Vise destroyed Vatel's old shop (or, as Nick puts it, "were simply in it when it exploded"^[1]) and moved in to the ruins to set up their own shop.

This character can also be found in Punch & Vise's Workshop, which is a room that can be installed in Guild Halls.

In the Operation Crimson Hammer lobby, Vise reveals that he knew Warmaster Seerus and had a history with him.

Vise appears to have a Scottish accent.

In the in-game files, the working name of Vise appears to be "Beard" and the name of Punch is replaced with "Smirk". These names are possibly only working names that never made it to any future versions of the game.

Vise allows knights to unbind equipment and armor in exchange for energy. Zero star items may not be unbound. The appropriate ticket will automatically be selected once the knight picks the item they want to unbind.
