The Dark Harvest is an event-exclusive prestige mission available during Dark Harvest Festival.

Overview

Description:

Every year the Strangers of Haven pay tribute to a peculiar spirit known as the 'Punkin King' in order to ensure a healthy fall harvest. This mischievous phantom delights in playing tricks on his audience but is quick to reward them with delicious candies for their troubles.

Celebrate the Dark Harvest Festival and help the Strangers by seeking out the Punkin King and paying tribute. You're sure to collect some candy along the way, so visit the Haven Town Square and turn it in for prizes!

Objective:

Seek an audience with the Punkin King.

This mission can only be played once per day.

Notes

This mission was introduced during the first Dark Harvest Festival in October 2011.

As of the fourth Dark Harvest Festival in 2014, several Grim Scarabs will swarm out of their grave burrows in the small area right before the Punkin King fight. These will spawn Grim Gourdlings when defeated, which will drop Token-Brittle Candy.png Brittle Candy when defeated.

If the Punkin King says TRICK, he will start to bounce around and the player will fight against Gourdlings. To collect Token-Hard Candy.png Hard Candy, Token-Sour Candy.png Sour Candy, or Token-Sweet Candy.png Sweet Candy tokens, the player must defeat the Punkin King before he runs away. If the Punkin King says TREAT, he will run away after dropping several tokens.
