Offenses:
Damage type(s) and Attack Speed influence combat. The attack style of the weapon in relation to the combat environment is also important. Consider both when choosing weapons to wield.

Stats

Abilities:
Boosts and Penalties are both considered "abilities" in general. Many items don't have any special abilities. See the Abilities page for details. Some enemies are immune to certain status conditions - see individual status pages for details.

The Wild Hunting Blade is a 5-star sword.

Description

A legendary cutter feared by even the mightiest of Wolvers and Chromalisks.

Attacks

Basic Attack

A 10-hit combo, consisting of 5 swings doing 2 hits apiece with the second hit dealing less damage than the initial one. The fifth swing in the combo does more damage than all the other hits. The second hit of each swing is delivered by a phantasmal image of a Golden Wolver biting from left to right in alteration. This Wolver replaces the phantasmal sword strike of other Cutter series swords. All swings, with the exception of the first one, make the player thrust forward 1 square.

Charge Attack

Wild Hunting Blade Charged Attack

Starts with four quick, powerful slashes, each with phantasmal Wolvers surrounding and biting the struck area directly in front of the Knight. The final, fifth strike is delivered by a giant Wolver. This attack cannot be interrupted by taking damage, but can be interrupted if you are Shocked, and although the final swing CAN be shield cancelled, please be careful where you use it.

Damage

The following damage values represent the weapon at its completed level, without any UV or bonus from other equipment, and listed as a range found from the first to last floor of each stratum. The basic attack has alternating high and low hits, the last hit of the basic combo does the charge-level damage. The charge attack alternates between the charge value and the low attack value. The non-beast damage matches the Dread Venom Striker.
