An Artifact is an item indicating participation in an activity. Many are found on the ground in the Clockworks.

Notes

Artifacts typically contain important information about the story of Spiral Knights.

They cannot be equipped, nor do they show up on the player for public view. They cannot be traded to other players or sold to vendors.

There are many informative modules found throughout the clockworks. Only certain Recon Modules and all Echo Stones are acquired and stored in the player's arsenal. Modules have a distinct disc shape in both the overworld as well as their icons, though the coloration seems to be swapped. Echo stones have a unique overworld appearance and interface.
