A Sprite Pod is a usable. When used, a relevant Level 1 Battle Sprite will pop out. This battle sprite will be permanently bound to the player.

The animation that plays when opening a Sprite Pod is similar to the one that occurs when opening a Prize Box.
History
At first, the player could only have one Battle Sprite in their arsenal.
As of this announcement in August 2013, players could obtain more than one battle sprite via pods. Since then, more pods have been released over time, featuring "reskins" of battle sprites.
