Finding Things
The "#" column is just to notify users of the relevance of a box for making sense of repeated, rather inconsistently patterned occurrences in a linear timeline, not the current availability of a box.
The "Method of Acquisition" column describes how to get the most recent release of a box. Want to know which boxes you can get "for free" just by playing the game, even if it's only during certain times of the year? Sort this column and look for "Gameplay," or more rarely, "Giveaway." Almost all of these boxes are temporarily available, with the only exception being the Forge Prize Box. A few are re-released and/or come in the Surprise Box, so keep your hopes up!
The "Items and Odds" column contains links to official staff posts regarding sensitive information about boxes, such as odds, cost, and other important information. Not all official posts will have the same kinds of information consistently, depending on the nature of the box.
The "General Contents" column intuitively describes the general contents of the box:
- Costume = Costume
- Furniture = Various furniture items that can be placed in a Guild Hall.
- Equipment = Armor, Helmets, Shields, Trinkets, and/or Weapons that are not reskins, like the Overcharged Mixmaster.
- Reskin = A type of equipment - the item is simply a reskin of another equipment item.
- Ticket = Unique Variant tickets, always randomly possible to get one of 1, 2, or 3, unless otherwise stated (no breaking of this pattern yet).
- Other = unusual contents, such as battle sprite food, rarities, or even other prize boxes.
Several of these boxes also have "Additional Prize Pools" with upgrades like trinket slots and usables like confetti.
The "MRY" column lists the most recent year the box was officially available, since several boxes have been available more than once, several with slightly different names to distinguish changed Prize Pools. This does not consider availability via other players, possible contents of Surprise Boxes, and so on.
Organization
Columns generally attempt to maintain links to the most recent and/or relevant information about a box, since a given box can have more than one official staff post as time goes on. Many boxes have had their method of acquisition and/or contents changed over time. A record of these changes and posts is maintained for historical note and future reference on individual pages. Much of this information is sensitive because it involves real-world currency and associated costs/odds are highly likely to change, so this main list attempts to be informative while remaining ambiguous.Editor Forum Discussion
- For boxes that are not directly related to real-world currency, editors and users might post researched items and odds if these data are not provided by staff (especially true of Lockboxes). Research posted on this wiki should be based on in-game observations, not external programs such as Spiral Spy (fun to use for many, but not good for a wiki! - discuss such things in an appropriate place, like the Forums).
This list is ordered by Date of Release when in default, with repeated boxes (like Solstice) using the first date of release to organize them within this default order.
For a list of more current events and boxes, see the
news page or individual box pages. This
Prize Box page is merely a list of boxes that have been released.
