Shouldn't we use a template similar to the one in the weapons page? This one: http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Template:ArmorInfo Pupu 06:33, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

The way the weapons page is set up now is kind of ugly, and isn't very easy to navigate. I'm planning on changing it to be like this one. Thoughts? Shango 13:28, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

I rather like it. I'd go change the swords/guns/bombs page if I had the time. This format is lovely. - Shoy 14:52, 30 October 2010 (UTC)

Where are the icons coming from? I tried the equipped armor icon, and it's bigger than all the others, but cleaner. --Skaf 08:08, 28 November 2010 (UTC)

Template

Anyone object to switching the table row coding to a template instead? If not, I will make one and then add all the armor that's known on the wiki to this list since there's some missing. --Equinox 05:59, 2 January 2011 (UTC)

I don't, but I didn't do it myself because I assumed it didn't really make things any easier than how they are without a template. I also semi-recently found a way to cut out a lot of extra code for the tables (see Swords) so now it uses very little at all, though I hadn't yet gotten around to changing all the pages. --Shango 02:07, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
I'll take a look at the version at swords then. The reason for using a template though, would be to easily change all the tables' formatting more easily all at once if we find a better way to do whatever thing. Generally I believe that when things are repeated multiple times and on several pages, it merits looking into templates in case of possible future need. --Equinox 04:18, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
That is a good point. --Shango 09:51, 3 January 2011 (UTC)

(-Jzrox-) : I found most of the armor images. I just don't know how to upload them! How do you do that? Reply-

Which images are you referring to? --Lithium31337 15:39, 28 June 2013 (UTC)

Health Scaling

It appears (at least as of today) that Armors and Helms of more than 1-star quality lose 1 or more HP while you're in a Tier 1 area (just like how weapons that are beyond that deal somewhat lower damage in T1)...

Where do you put a note like that, anyway? And can someone double-check this and make sure I'm not missing odd exceptions or the game isn't just hating on me specifically?

In particular: My L10 Chroma Mask and L10 Angelic Raiment (both 3*) had 1 bonus health on them instead of 3. In my recipes list, the two items each at level one showed a bonus of 1HP instead of their normal 2. My L10 Firebreak Helm (2*) on the other hand also had only 1HP bonus out of its normal 2, but its recipe showed no Health bonus at all instead of the normal 1. I brought along a Vitasuit (1*) just to see, and it kept its 1HP bonus.

That is some convoluted text. In conclusion, what's goin on here? Chompie 08:07, 28 April 2011 (UTC)

I haven't gone around linking to it yet, but you can see the chart to figure it out on the Clockworks article. --Equinox 12:03, 28 April 2011 (UTC)

Location for purchase made or recipe??

Would be nice to see where you can get the recipe (or who sells premade) for any piece of armor. IE, vendor lvl 4 or Moorcroft Manor.

That is universal across all items by star level, and doesn't need listing here. AdmiralTails 16:10, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
That's not quite true--most recipes are just randomly available from Vatel or Basil on the appropriate tier, but some recipes are sold by Kozma and thus always available, Shadow Lair armors follow a different system, and some items (such as Groundbreaker Armor) are promotional and have special rules. I'm not sure whether that's useful enough to put in the giant table (this page already takes some time to load), but it's not entirely the same for all items. --Antistone 16:39, 3 February 2012 (UTC)

Compression

Based on the discussion on this page, going to do a major reduction and link to the main Costume page. -Novaster 20:43, 18 August 2014 (UTC)
