Zebulon is a knight who sells recipes for specialized gear. They provide a mix of defenses, weaknesses, and status resistances which are best suited for niche situations. Armor and Helmet items made from these recipes provide bonuses against the beast, fiend, and/or slime monster families, with the Radiant Silvermail specializing against undead and Fallen penalizing the player against fiends while providing useful resistances and a uniform attack speed increase.

This character is one of the vendors stationed in the Hall of Heroes. Vendors in the Hall include Archilus, Daxen, Echo, Izola, Jorin, Remi, Sylvin, Walkon, and Zebulon. They all change their appearance depending on the wares they have available.

Zebulon's station is decorated with an interactive console providing direct access to wares, a Wardrobe, and three tanks of colored liquid. Contained within these tanks are a Chromalisk and Devilite Overtimer suspended in a bubbling substance. These monsters belong to the beast and fiend families respectively, and as such are related to many of the bonuses offered by gear crafted from Zebulon's recipes. The third tank contains a blue substance and appears to otherwise be empty.

: The other major monster bonus associated with this vendor's stock aids in combat against the slime family. Due to this pattern, many players think there should be a slime in the third container. It could be filled with samples similar to Walkon's station. Alternatively, perhaps slimes do not fare very well in liquids, dissolving into the substance. Even worse, Zebulon wears the deadly virulisk line of equipment. The creature's "taste for flan" could have influenced Zebulon, causing the knight to view the specimen as a snack.

The recipes I have for you produces weapons that target specific monsters families and gear that has mixed defense types. Sometimes what you really need is a sword that smites the undead or armor that raises your slime smashing proficiency. The gear I specialize in is often built for a specific task, but is also great to mix and match with other sets. Experiment!
