Lots of information you may seek may be available here on the wiki. You can search for it using the search bar on the left. Another useful tool for looking up information is Google. You can find information across various Spiral Knights sites by searching for "spiral knights sword guide" if you're looking for a sword guide, for example. To limit your search to a single site, you can write site:url in your search. The previous example could be turned into site:spiralknights.com sword guide. • Sign up for the Newsletter on the main page to receive emails about Spiral Knights. Pay attention to the News Blog! here as well.

• Forum Announcements Admins will post about important updates here on the Forums.

• Twitter, Facebook - news shows up on these sites too.

• News and Release Calendar on the Spiral Knights Wiki.

• Steam news feed.

• Note: sometimes the game is "stealth patched" - not all changes are mentioned in Patch Notes or on the forums. Worry not, major stuff is always posted.
  • Sometimes posts "tease" players - the patch notes will seem very small, but the changes will be very large! Example: this post immediately preceded the second March of the Tortodrones.
  • Major updates typically happen on Wednesdays.

In-game:

• Every time you log into a knight, there will be a popup with information on current events if there are any going on. Otherwise this popup is just general advertising for the game.
• Usually accounts will receive a Mail that talks about Patch Notes and other recent things. Your knight will have a letter symbol on the Log In screen (this doesn't always mean news - your friends could have sent you a message, or it might be about something you did on the Auction House).
• Read the region chat. Player gossip in the Town Square of Haven is a great source of rumors about recent changes, anecdotes, and other players like you who might be wondering about things!
  • Sometimes Game Masters will talk in the region chat. Their chat text is colored lavender-purple.
  • Server reboots will be announced in game-wide chat. This text is pink.
