Several missions use the same name as an area, and mission floors often have special scenarios which make them slightly different from the "same" level encountered in the arcade. Certain missions are currently the only way to access certain places - this is the case with several dangerous prestige missions.

A "region" can be equated to a "country" or a "world", while a "level" can be equated to a "state" or a "city" of that "country" or "world." Players only have access to parts of these regions (levels) as the [[Clockworks]] moves them around.

<!-- Editors have chosen the term "region" to be more lenient than "worlds" in order to cover more areas. The "worlds" category was also previously deleted. For more details about this decision, see http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/113369 -->

This page is a category page. Please do not try to edit it to add entries. The correct way to add things to the page is to use a category tag. Please see the style guide for the appropriate category tags and how to use them. Some templates automatically add categories for you.
About categories:
  • Italicized links indicate pages that are redirected, likely to a list page with similar items.
  • If something is listed under lowercase "o", then it is Obsolete. Obsolete entities are retained on this wiki for historical note.

This category includes places such as "Aurora Isles", "Wolver Den", and so on that relate, consist of, and/or "encompass" levels with similar topography. Many regions also have special descriptions that can be viewed by mousehovering over gate icons.

Some logic: A "region" can be equated to a "country" or a "world", while a "level" can be equated to a "state" or a "city" of that "country" or "world." Players only have access to parts of these regions (levels) as the Clockworks moves them around.

This in-game loading tip explains how levels, regions (worlds), and the Clockworks are related.
