I'm a huge fan of this game and hope it lasts and is playable for a long time. I'm currently probably a mid-level player, who's made countless Royal Jelly runs and made it to the Core - a couple times solo. I haven't yet taken the fight to Vanaduke, but I plan to soon.
I've got two characters in the game, Kettlefish, my main character to whom most of the info on this page applies, and Menoetius, a character I'm going to leave in Rescue Camp to help nooBs figure out how to get to Haven and for just chilling out. You'd be surprised how relaxing chilling in Rescue Camp can be when compared to fast-paced Haven.
Kettlefish is a member of Guild, probably the most powerful guild in the game. I'm constantly impressed by how good at SK some of our members are.
When I'm not slashing and burning in the Clockworks, I actually like to go into a Trade Chat trance trying to sell Recipes and Gear (although it's lately gotten much harder). Once in a while I'll even craft something if I see someone who's desperately looking for a crafter. I try to be an honorable knight in my trading, although it's sometimes difficult with the state of the current market. I've been known to send people I've sold things to crowns when I realize I've accidentally grossly overcharged them. I've also sold some things for much less than people have advertised they were looking to buy them, because they wanted to pay waaay over market value. If you see me selling something you want, please try to negotiate; I'll usually come down on my prices if you do! "lol" is not a counteroffer!
