Kataclysmic Confrontation is an event with three unique Prestige Missions: That Mold and Black Magic, Bad Luck and Brimstone and Purr Terror, they are only available during the Kataclysmic Confrontation. These three missions have always 3 levels with Clockwork Tunnels, Graveyards, Candlestick Keep or Arenas. The date of this event has been:
- From release 2013-01-30 to release 2013-02-13
- From release 2013-08-21 to 2013-08-28.
Overview
Description: Someone or something has summoned a horde of cursed Black Kats into the Clockworks. These shadowy beasts hunger for arcane power and raided the Moorcroft Manor Archives' precious collection of magical grimoires. In the wrong hands these ancient tomes could be catastrophic, but it turns out that Black Kats can't read, so they instead decided to just eat them. The residents of Moorcroft Manor would like you to retrieve the Ancient Pages of the magical grimoires that quite likely reside in the stomachs of Black Kats. We'll leave you to figure out just how to recover them...
Objective: Locate and destroy the Black Kat nest.

That Mold and Black Magic
This mission consist in three levels, the first depth is a Clockwork Tunnels: Haunted Passage, the second depth is a Graveyard and the third depth is a Wasteworks: Haunted Passage with a final arena at the end of the level with the following monsters:

Bad Luck and Brimstone
This mission consist in three levels, the first depth is a Blast Furnace: Haunted Passage, the second depth is a Graveyard and the third depth is a Candlestick Keep: Burning Blackout with a final arena at the end of the level with the following monsters:

Note: During the battle, Grimalkins can appear if the candles aren't lit, it is advised for Knights to fight in the light of the candles.
Purr Terror
This mission consist in three levels, the first depth is a Candlestick Keep: Noxious Night, the second depth is a Thunder Fist Arena: Cadaverous Clash and the third depth is a Clockwork Tunnels: Haunted Passage with a final arena at the end of the level with the following monsters:

Note: This battle is surrounded of spikes, some of them can cause Stun status.
Trivia
- The Black Kats who appear in the arena of the third levels don't drop Ancient Pages.
- Because these three missions are part of the Kataclysmic Confrontation event, Vile Deadnaughts and Choking Bombies can only be seen in this event in the whole game.
