You seem to have found your way to my information page! As you may or may not know, I am the distinguished Xyloid, and I hope to conquer the clockworks unlike any before me! Just cruise on by to find out more, and a good day to you!
- == Basic Summary of my Personal Preferences ==
Ello there! Xyloid at your service, ready to do battle and strike up a charming conversation should the need arise for each case respectively. Now my name is Xyloid (Say it with me, "Xy-loid", use Xylophone as a reference for pronunciation.), or you can just call me "Xy." I have been around for a good long time. So long in fact...that I tend not to remember when I initially became a member. Somewhere around April 7th-9th, 2011 is when I joined if memory serves. I do know I was not part of the beta, but I was definitely around before Steam had a hand in it. I try to be helpful whenever I can, and give info when possible. My main creed is simple, "I do not pay actual money for anything that I can obtain with grinding with in-game currency(crowns, Energy, or tokens) and time." My ultimate goal is to have one of every 5* item. It is a long term goal though so I don't have any intention of rushing, and I go at my own pace. If I seem to be unresponsive, then the best test is to simply private message(PM) me, and if I have an automatic message set for when I am Away explaining my current condition for the moment then you can be sure I am not there but will return shortly when I can.

How it all began
I started out in a time where 5* Wolver Sets were very popular, everyone had one it seemed, so what did I do? I went with a bomber set of course! Through grinding and time I eventually found myself with my first 5* set! Of which was my mighty Glacius, the fabled Dark Briar Barrage, followed by a Volcanic Demo Set, and Aegis shield. Through time I eventually achieved the status I am today, quite a handful of items at my disposal, and a good understanding of the game. The time spent earning my way makes me a favorable ally(at least in my own personal opinion), and I hope you think so as well!
What to expect of my experience or skill
Obviously no knight is perfect(no matter how much many would like to say they have reached this zenith), but I find I do a fairly good job in terms of team work in a given run should you need it, as well as soloing when I must(though I don't quite prefer it as much). I'm very familiar with the basic Clockworks system(exploration, terminology, key floor numbers, etc.) regarding the arcade, as all knights should who knew a time before Missions. If you would rather skip the humble-speak and get right down to the facts, I own a lvl 100 Maskeraith, have earned all 60 achievements, became a Vanguard as of about a week into the release of the Mission System's finalization, and have surpassed the 45000 prestige mark for it's highest badge. I try my best and have had my hand in Firestorm Citadel more times than I can count, know each of the four Danger Missions to a tee, and have done my share of Shadow Lair runs in each of the 4 available respectively. Whether it be taking down the dreaded Vanaduke, Daring the deadly Danger Missions (Legion of Almire, Compound 42, Heart of Ice, Ghosts in the Machine), dodging about the Shadow Lairs, or whatever you might need I hope that I can give it as the humble old bomber that I am.
Personality/Relations with the Community
I'm proper when I need to be, a bit egotistical, and rather dashing above all else.(<see what I did there?) I try to keep up a conversation, remain friendly in the face of adversity, and remain blunt about my goals and means. I've been in several wonderful guilds that built me to where I am today, First being " La Conquista" as it was once called, now known as " Conquest" where a friendly guild master named Blueknighter took me up! I skipped around through other guilds, but found myself in Fruition which furthered my progress and growth. Ah, Fruition, The good ol' days: 1, 2, 3, 4. Finally, we come to Eternal Legacy which is my most recent guild to have had the pleasure to be a part of. I can only hope I gave back to them as much if not more that being a part of EL had given me! Frostyhawk and Egoblaster are the head honchos in EL, so please give them love if you see them(or better yet, ask to join!). Every now and again I'll try to help out the community the best I know how with helping out random players, guildies, and of course friends. Help is usually by means of runs(Missions,Clockworks,Shadow Lairs) mostly, or insight over pricing, updates, and general "SKisms" I've gained from my time on SK to the best of my ability should it prove useful. I might be a fair Clockworks goer, but as far as Lockdown goes I might as well be a bulls-eye with "insert FF here" written on it. I was here when it was released, and I still am not fond of it to this day. Our good friends at The Jempire took notice of this and created a humorous article on their website about my feelings for their un-Cradlely prowess in LD, other guilds be warned for what they do just isn't natural. I try my best to keep my image clean and respectable to the Community, as I do owe a lot of what I have to it. Your image makes a huge impact in the market, as I know all too well. Accompanied by my good sparring buddy, time, It allows me to make my in-game goals realities and my references well supported! I try to keep hold of my origins and memorable moments and now have quite an interesting Steam Gallery, have fun with that one. You're probably asking yourself, "Oh Xyloid, someone as digitally successful in the imaginary world of MMOs MUST have video to reflect his greatness!", and you'd be right! Our man Solotron(aka Serjinxable) has featured me in two of his spiral spy videos: One of which is brief/I'm orange with no wings or glasses(we can't all get it right the first time) and the second I'm put in a humorous situation of his own design(still no wings but 3 out of 4 ain't bad). The other I make an appearance in a "lets play" on SacredPresents with Dead-Fish, Poisonfire, and Spark-Wg. Don't look too much into that one for comedy from my end! Both knights work hard with the channels I'm in so make sure to pay them a visit. I do love a good joke though, and I keep a rather specific humor that I'm sure you'd appreciate. Want proof? Alright, let me introduce you to "Unlucky Guy Xy." The subject of these isn't too hard to grasp by name alone I'm sure, and if you're an SK player then you're in for a hoot, enjoy.
How to dress for success!
As my main look I sport a Heavenly Iron Helm with Heavy Glasses, and Ironmight Plate Mail with a good pair of Heavy Dragon Wings accompanying it. Those great Cheeky Eyes are used to enhance my laughter, as you will see they do quite well if we are to meet. Strangely enough I encountered my good friend and generous former Guild Master, Dishly. Wouldn't you know it, he was sporting a variation of my very ensemble. After basking in each others glory we went our own ways and next thing I knew, I was part of Fruition itself. Again finding I had started something quite wonderful as the "Heavenly Helm with plate mail" look took many different paths within the guild becoming the guild's official uniform you could say. I of course love to embrace current promotional items, but more specifically I like finding new and interesting ways to use Stranger Hats(of which I've created five unique costume sets so far), and you might catch me sporting my famed "Basil Set" when I happen to be buying/selling/trading. I've also had my share of victory among competitive costume contests: Blueknighter's Contest(pg 3-post #174, category:open) was my first real contest to win, and Troupemaster's Fashion Contest #2(pg 1-post #36,pg 2-post #102, category:promo-reskin) has been my most recent and successful.
