Overview
As you may recall, tortodrones disappeared from the Clockworks a long time ago and, apart for some stray shells here and there, they have not been seen by the Spiral Order for quite some time. Investigations into the cause were inconclusive, but Spiral HQ suspects fiends are somehow involved.
Now, the tortodrones are being called on the Long Migration. Even the Strangers do not know the reasons for this mysterious event but these giant, robotic tortoises can be glimpsed traveling through the clockworks.
Spiral HQ has new intel that fiends are gathering tortodrone parts and reassembling them. That can't be good...right? Scout the Clockworks for fiends to gather intel and fiendish glyphs. Investigate the Ancient Grove and put a stop to their nefarious activities! - Forum Post.
Gameplay
The Fiendish ID Card. This item is required to access the fight in this event's prestige mission. It acts like a Shadow Key: one player can use one card for the entire squad, and each card can only be used once.
Fiendish Glyphs ( Amu, Ur, Tor, Nok, Sol), which are materials for crafting this card, have a chance to drop from any defeated loot-dropping fiend, anywhere, during this event.
They also drop in bulk as rewards for fighting in special event-exclusive arcade areas. More information in the gallery below.
Arcade
This event brings a few scenario rooms to Devilish Drudgery levels. These rooms are small "rituals" about the Dark Matters featuring fight areas with Devilites, Gorgos, Trojans and Howlitzers.
Two different Danger Rooms called "Mysterious Rooms" or "Bonus Mysterious Rooms" in Clockwork Tunnels can be found in the arcade as well. These special rooms are miniature fiend arenas with some spike traps. Howlitzers and Dust Bunnies can appear too.
A special arena with misery blocks and aesthetic piles of dark matter can randomly replace Fiendish Fray arenas.
Prestige
"March of the Tortodrones" is an event-exclusive prestige mission that can be started as often as the player desires, so long as the player is at least Rank ???. It features two corrupted Tortodrones and a seemingly infinite number of fiends. Only when both of the corrupted Tortodrones are defeated can the player(s) claim victory.
Rewards and Prizes
Token Exchange
There are no tokens associated with this event. Instead, Ancient Shell materials are collected from defeated Tortodrones and used to craft various Tortodrone-related gear at the Mysterious Alchemy Machine.
Prize Boxes
- Ancient Prize Box - with real-world currency.
Notes
In early versions of the game, players had chances to encounter regular Tortodrones in the clockworks. These monsters were removed for quite some time, and seem to have returned to the game with this event - but only corrupted tortodrones can currently be fought.
The first event was preceded by the appearance of several tortodrone scenario rooms in the arcade. The tortodrones in these scenarios seem to be "dead" or "inactive." Players can see these scenario rooms any time of the year, not just during the event.

Arcade Gallery
There are two different kinds of entrances to mysterious rooms in Clockwork Tunnels. Regular "Mysterious Rooms" are free, simply step on a button near the entrance to lower the gate. It costs 5 energy to open the gate to a "Bonus Mysterious Room." The following fights can be beyond either type of entrance.
