The Ironclaw Munitions Factory is a region. Regions categorize levels with similar characteristics that have been incorporated into the Clockworks.

Description

The Ironclaw Munitions Factory is a gremlin-operated weapons factory that specializes in the production of high-calibur explosives. Intel has revealed that it is developing a secret weapon known as 'Project Roarmulus' designed with the sole purpose of destroying Haven! — Gate Icons

Characteristics

Each level map is fixed.

Several levels of this region are always a permanent feature of one of the arcade gates. Their presence in an arcade gate is indicated by shock-colored rocket icons and their location is always in tier 2.

Levels are populated by multitudes of Constructs. A few Gremlins also show up. A boss pair known as the Roarmulus Twins is encountered in The Roarmulus Twins.

Special levers raise or lower purple and yellow walls. These barriers can make progress through the factory difficult, but they can be utilized for protection. Rocket Blocks and lasers are notable hazards.

The background is a very dark view of the Clockworks partially obscured by electric effects.

Similar terrain can be seen in any Power Complex, though the decorations seem to be limited to gremlin design.

Notes

A version of the Factory has "begun manufacturing fiery weapons" as a Shadow Lair, featuring a similar group of levels and monsters with a fire theme as well as shock.

A Recon Module left by Rulen can be found in the treasure room after defeating this region's boss duo.
