Poison is a status condition that inflicts the victim with various effects depending on if it is a knight or a monster.
When a knight is poisoned, they cannot heal, either from hearts or capsules, and have reduced attack power by approximently 1/3.
Monsters afflicted with poison will be unable to heal themselves or regenerate health. Gremlin Menders or Wings will slightly damage poisoned monsters instead of healing them. It will also weaken the monster's attack power and defense.
Themed Enemies
Poison-themed enemies are immune to and may inflict poison status.
- Blarfuls
- Blight Knights
- Drouls
- Hazbots
- Hurkats
- Gremlin Jokers
- Jokers are not immune to but can inflict poison.
- Jade Greavers
- Rabid Wolvers
- Toxigels, Toxilargos, and Spiny Toxilargos
- Sick Puppies
- Vilewoods
- Virulisks and Deadly Virulisks
- Rabid Snarbolax
- Void Gel
Inflicting Poison
Spiral Knights can inflict poison on monsters by using poison vials against them or using a weapon that has a chance of inflicting poison.
Weapons that are able to inflict poison are:
- Vile Striker and upgrades
- Toxic Catalyzer and upgrades
- Toxic Vaporizer and upgrades
- Toxic Needle and upgrades
- Sealed Sword's charge attack
Resisting Poison
The following armor sets grants knights a resistance, but not immunity, to poisoning attacks:
- Chroma Set and upgrades
- Angelic Set and upgrades
- Drake Scale Set and upgrades
- Skelly Set and upgrades
- Shadowsun set
- Snarbolax set
The following shields will protect against vicious, venomous villains:
- Drake Scale Shield and upgrades
- Skelly Shield and upgrades
- Green Ward
