A Revelation in Flames is a 2-2 rank mission.
Overview
Description:
Rhendon is waiting for you in an area of the Clockworks called the Sunset Steppes where reconnaissance has located a cache of missing battle sprites. Secure the sprites and clear the area of hostiles. You are authorized to use any sprites you secure in order to complete the mission.
Objective:
Secure a cache of battle sprites and return them to the Lab.
Notes
This mission features the Drakon battle sprite.
A Tier 2 level 15 Drakon will temporarily accompany the player. This sprite replaces the player's current sprite. Not to worry, this has no lasting effects on any sprites the player might own already - feel free to replay this mission.
Assuming the player has not crafted any on their own or sold the Super Stun Gun from the 2-1 Mission: Pumping Up, receiving the Zapper reward for completing this mission will be the third handgun the player has in their arsenal, thus granting the Gunslinger Achievement.

Notes
Goal: Find the missing sprites and get to the elevator.
When the first party button is pressed:
Alright, PLAYERNAME, let's get started. Looks like you and I get to go on a little sprite hunt, eh?
I've aligned my tracker with the recon knight intel but something's not right. The energy signature I'm detecting is erratic, but still definitely a battle sprite. They may be in trouble, so let's hurry!
When the second party button is pressed:
What the- are these... battle sprites? Something has happened to them, they've changed into some kind of creature.
They seem friendly. In fact they seem to behave just like the battle sprites I know. Only difference is they, uh, well, look like dragons.
Hey, it looks like one of the sprites has taken a liking to you! Well, let's not let that extra power go to waste, I'll stay here and protect these sprites. You use your new friend to help clear the rest of the area of hostiles.

- (Please Wait) (Ends conversation)
If spoken to:
I'll stay here and protect these sprites. Some of these sprite transport crates are empty. I think someone or something is after them.
You go on ahead and clear the area of hostiles so that a rescue squad can arrive safely.
- I'm on it! (Ends conversation)

Notes
Goal: Talk to Morlin about what was found in the Sunset Steppes.
This dialogue occurs if Morlin is spoken to at the end of 2-2 Mission: A Revelation in Flames. If The Lab is entered from the Haven Garrison and the next rank missions are incomplete, the dialogue remains available:
This is astounding! The battle sprites you recovered from the Sunset Steppes have somehow morphed into a new entity!
- They look like dragons from fairy tales.
Indeed. Though their cellular identity is still wholly that of a battle sprite. My hypothesis is that somehow they rapidly evolved to survive in their new environment, but how? Our technology could never do something like that...
- Cradle is growing more mysterious by the day.
Yes. It would seem as though we have much to learn of this place.
Rhendon's report noted that many of the sprites were missing from the site. He suggested foul play.
- Perhaps gremlins are trying to steal our technology?
If so, we must prevent further damage. Now please, there are yet more sprites to be rescued. And who knows what we'll discover when we get there!
