Haven
From SpiralKnights
Haven is a major hub on the planet Cradle, as well as the home of the Strangers. These salvagers offer the Spiral Knights sanctuary in return for the treasures that they acquire while investigating the Clockworks. Friendly vendors from other races (such as the Gremlins and Devilites often encountered in the Clockworks) also reside here, though in much smaller population. Haven is also heavily populated with snipes, bulbous little birds with a curious means of locomotion.
Haven is divided into three districts -- the Town Square, the Bazaar, and the Arcade. Each area has an exit into the other two, forming a type of loop that offers quick access to any part of the town.
There can be more than one instance of Haven depending on the number of players logged in. You can move to other instances via the minimap.
History
Haven is the home of Strangers on Cradle. Since the Skylark crashed on the planet's surface, the Spiral Knights have gained the trust of the Strangers and found sanctuary in their town.
The Spiral Knights and Strangers both have a vested interest in the Clockworks and stage trips there from the town's Arcade. The knights seek the possibility of repairing their ship, and the Strangers have interest in the treasures that the knights bring back from their adventures.
Town Square
Town Square is the first point of entry for knights entering Haven from the rescue camp. The area features a large plaza, with a central fountain in front of the Auction House. The Advanced Training Hall can be found on the west path leading to the bazaar.

Arcade
The Arcade is located in the northern-most part of Haven, and is the starting point for Spiral Knights venturing into the Clockworks. The knights access the clockworks by means of the eight gates in the Arcade -- four of which are active.

- Dormant Gates
- Active gates are the four rightmost gates in the Arcade.
- Minerals can be deposited into these gates to determine the eventual structure of the gate.
- Krogmo Alchemy Machine
- Located near the entrance to the Bazaar.
- Contains recipes for 4 and 5 star trinkets that do not need to be learned.
