An '''Aura''' is an accessory that can be attached to the ''Armor Aura'' slot via [[Bechamel]]. Depending on the aura, this accessory can add a variety of [[Special Effects]] to a player's appearance, such as glowing, shedding, trailing, and so on. Some auras affect more parts of the body than others (leafy aura will put leaves on the body and head), but most effects are isolated to the chest area. Many entities in the game have their own aura-like effects, such as the dust that comes off of [[Zombie]]s. Others have an an aura that mimics an extant aura accessory (or the aura mimics this effect), such as the character [[Biscotti]]'s ''Sprinkle Aura.''

=== Middle color ===
 +
Here I tried to use a "middle color" for the same appearance fields. I took the color from the border of the table, so I can say the color is "official". Maybe there are other middle colors used elsewhere, I don't know right now. There's a small problem that the text is hard to read, so brighter color could be useful. Using white or the "official light blue" for text doesn't seem to be a good solution because white draws more attention than I'd like and the light blue looks simply a bit weird (probably because it's used everywhere as background, not foreground color). Examples of these two colors are in the last two "same appearance" rows. (Maybe they don't look that bad in the end...)

==Monster Project==
 +

 +
As part of the [http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/111580 Monster Overhaul Project]:
 +

 +

 +
Propose a merging of:
 +
*[[Monster]]
 +
*[[Monster Classification]]
 +
*[[Visual Encyclopedia/creature]]
 +

 +
Into a single, more easily updated "[[Monster]]" page with the same information about weaknesses and tendencies and so on in the top part of the page, and all the organization is in this sortable list (this list is of course incomplete and a WiP, just has a few examples in it to test sortability). This page could easily have a <nowiki>{{main|List of monsters}}</nowiki> instead of being one large page. We could also divide the list by monster family (similar to how the monster page currently is) instead of one giant list, though this reduces sortability.
 +

 +
Feedback: don't touch monster page as much. We should still mention other methods of organization, either in a better reworded top or in See Also.
 +

 +
Proposal:
 +
Reclassify [[Wheel Launcher]] and [[The Swarm#Swarm Source|Swarm Source]] as [[exploration]] entities instead of monsters.
 +

 +
==List==
 +
The subsection division of this list is roughly based on the loot tables of defeated monsters.
 +

 +
If a field is empty, then the monster does not have an encountered variant associated with that aspect.
 +

 +
Certain monsters may have the same appearance for all tiers, but they probably have more attacks with intensified effects in higher tiers. See individual pages for details.
 +

 +
Many monsters can inflict stun in addition to other status ailments. The status column indicates a monster [[stratum|themed]] with that status. A monster without a status in this list may or may not be able to inflict stun or some other status. For example, curse is a Tier 3 status only and there aren't any "curse" stratum themes.
 +

 +
===General===
 +
These monsters can almost always be found in an appropriate [[area]]. Some are randomly spawned, while others have set spawn points. Unless they are generated by a [[Exploration#Respawn Pad|respawn pad]], they have a chance to drop [[crowns]], [[heat]], [[heart]]s, a [[pickup]], a [[vitapod]], and/or [[material]]s when defeated. Lower tier monsters as well as monsters in [[Danger Room]]s seem to have a higher chance of dropping nothing.

These accessories are usually available as a "rare" from prize boxes, and many have shown up in the Supply Depot and Featured Auction House. Thus, availability of these accessories is rather transient (and sometimes difficult to state officially, as with twinkle or things from lockboxes that have also shown up on the Featured Auction House many times). It would be prudent to frequently check the [http://www.spiralknights.com/ News Blog], [http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/forum/8 Admin Forum Posts], the [[Auction House|Featured Auction House]], and the [[Supply Depot]] if you wish to obtain these accessories.

These monsters have a small chance to be encountered instead of something else. Conditions may vary, and some are much more rare than others. See individual pages for details.

These monsters can only be encountered during a specific [[event]].

* According to [[Developer|Nick]], the ''Unclean Aura'' is a reference to the game "Deadly Premonition"; the main character would attract flies if he did not change his suit for a period of time. In spiral there seems to be a set amount of flies around, but in the aforementioned game, the main character would start off with one insect, and then they could grow into a swarm. {{fn|http://twitter.com/#!/NickPopovich/status/142419888881930241}}

*The ''Soaked'' aura has icon art that is very similar to the icon art for ''Sunshine'', despite the soaked aura being rather damp. This is to maintain the "fun in the sun" attitude of the [[Splash Prize Box Promotion May 2014|Splash Promo]].

"Same appearance"

Middle color

Monster Project

As part of the Monster Overhaul Project:

Propose a merging of:

Into a single, more easily updated "Monster" page with the same information about weaknesses and tendencies and so on in the top part of the page, and all the organization is in this sortable list (this list is of course incomplete and a WiP, just has a few examples in it to test sortability). This page could easily have a {{main|List of monsters}} instead of being one large page. We could also divide the list by monster family (similar to how the monster page currently is) instead of one giant list, though this reduces sortability.

Feedback: don't touch monster page as much. We should still mention other methods of organization, either in a better reworded top or in See Also.

Proposal: Reclassify Wheel Launcher and Swarm Source as exploration entities instead of monsters.

List

The subsection division of this list is roughly based on the loot tables of defeated monsters.

If a field is empty, then the monster does not have an encountered variant associated with that aspect.

Certain monsters may have the same appearance for all tiers, but they probably have more attacks with intensified effects in higher tiers. See individual pages for details.

Many monsters can inflict stun in addition to other status ailments. The status column indicates a monster themed with that status. A monster without a status in this list may or may not be able to inflict stun or some other status. For example, curse is a Tier 3 status only and there aren't any "curse" stratum themes.

General

These monsters can almost always be found in an appropriate area. Some are randomly spawned, while others have set spawn points. Unless they are generated by a respawn pad, they have a chance to drop crowns, heat, hearts, a pickup, a vitapod, and/or materials when defeated. Lower tier monsters as well as monsters in Danger Rooms seem to have a higher chance of dropping nothing.
