This page is a list of all the updates on the main spiral knights page.

Notes

In-game:

Every time you log into a knight, there will be a popup with information on current events if there are any going on. Otherwise this popup is just general advertising for the game.
Usually accounts will receive a Mail that talks about Patch Notes and other recent things. Your knight will have a Mail symbol on the Log In screen (this doesn't always mean news - your friends could have sent you a message, or it might be about something you did on the Auction House).
Read the region chat. Player gossip in the Town Square of Haven is a great source of rumors about recent changes, anecdotes, and other players like you who might be wondering about things!
- Sometimes Game Masters will talk about the game in the region chat. Their chat text is colored lavender-purple. This is not always news, but hints tend to be dropped. Sometimes they will pose in the most recent Prize Box costumes.
- Server reboots will be announced in game-wide chat. This text is pink, and it will usually say why the server is being rebooted - maintenance, update, etc.

Prepare yourself:

Be a part of the new stuff! If the Test Server is open, and you qualify, participate in the testing and give feedback on the provided relevant forum thread. Get an idea of what's coming before it gets here!
As a general last resort, don't be afraid to ask support for help - if you hear someone telling you about a weird new thing, but can't find any information on it anywhere after doing a thorough search, that might be something called a "scam" and support will clear up your doubts.

Update yourself about the past! This is a sort of "calendar" of events, promotions, and other updates in list form. This is news you should know - without all that back clicking on the main page or searching through raw numbers.

Sort the first column on the left to bring more recent news to the top or bottom as desired.

Use the CNTRL+F function (if your system can) and type in a term such as Winterfest and press enter (keep pressing to go through terms).

 |post content = Remember, knights: all rescue pods are stocked with a standard-issue Proto Sword, Proto Gun, Proto Shield and full set of Spiral Armor in case of a crash-landing in hostile territory. Familiarizing yourself with these and other weapons and armor will be key to your survival on this new world! Other weapons of particular interest to new arrivals include the Punch Gun, which has been adapted from a tool used to blast open pod doors, and the Slime Slasher, which is a heavily-modified entrenching tool suitable for combat use against slimes. The wiki has more info on the full range of arms and armor for those of you who are particularly thorough knights!
